I really liked the first unit fur the first 15 months. Then the door sensor began to erratically fail to respond. At 17 months, I brought it to an authorized LG repair place. I was told that the primary circuit board was becoming very hot and was at risk for fire. The unit cost too much to repair, so it was trashed. I have Chase warranty protection. Since I was fully reimbursed, and I liked it a lot, and it was on sale, I replaced it with the very same unit ( this one). I did purchase with that same card. I only hope it wasn’t a mistake.

works well and seems durable. i am not a fan of the touch screen but it does not bother me. wish the minimum time settings can be 5 sec instead of 10 sec.

This microwave seems to be a huge upgrade from our previous model which was about 20 years old. Still learning how to use it!

This has been a really good microwave so far and only thing that is a little different is the time setting .but otherwise it is great!

The oven performs its functions in a quiet, efficient manner. Once the microewave is operating however, I cannot lower the power level prior to completing its timed task

Cooks HOT on high! I kick down the power level to avoid ruining my food. There is definitely a learning curve with this microwave, as it’s not very intuitive to use. Keep the manual nearby for cooking codes-there isn’t a one press button for cooking potatoes or popcorn, etc. I don’t use it very often, but I do love it. It looks sharp on the counter too. Helpful to see the food cooking through the window. (Otherwise I’d be burning my nachos to a crisp!) If you keep it on high, even the lowest cooking time in a range of times is too long. Cooks evenly, defrosts nicely. I enjoy the song at the end when the food is finished!

This has held up well compared to the smaller cheaper microwaves we had been buying, and it’s also a good size for the counter

Bought this microwave recently and Had to say that it looks great and have had zero issues with it. Easy to operate, intuitive to use. Thought that the price was very fair.

We purchased this microwave and really wanted to like it but returned it right after taking it out of the box for a short test drive. What drew us to this microwave was the way the door opened without any push button latch. However, once we actually had the microwave, that was the only pro. There are just too many cons for us: -The interior is dark gray which really dims the interior. -Each button push results in a twinkly tone similar to our old LG fridge -The end of cook is not a beep but a twinkly melody -The real deal breaker for us is the UI. The door needs to be open to access the buttons. The only functions accessible with the door closed are start, cancel and a time slider. Cooking something involves first setting the cook time, then the power level, then closing the door to push start. The manual said the time could be adjusted after the door was closed with a the time slider but, we had limited success with the time slider.
