    Replaced our 2003 GE microwave, which really worked great for what we use it for, but melting cheese on top of triscuits was getting a bit uneven cooking.... ;-). This LG is much louder while cooking than the previous microwave. I'm sure it will work fine to heat liquids and melt cheese....Worth $180?? Only if it last 18+ years like the old GE.... :-)
