I wish I hadn't replaced my red hamilton beach microwave thinking LG must be better. Nope. It's not. It has a sleek design but it's just an ordinary microwave, nothing extra.

Very impressed by the new technology no hot and cold spots like the old days. Would like to be able to turn off the sound. The 6 point turntable stand virtually eliminates tipping. I’ve only had it 3 weeks so we’ll see how long it lasts.

This microwave heats up food and drinks well, however we are unhappy how LOUD the noises make while heating up. It shakes and rattles, perhaps something inside is loose. Anyways, returning it to get a new one, hopefully the 2nd one is more quiet. 5-star for heating capabilities, 1-star due to noises.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this microwave to replace one for which a custom shelf have been built, and this was the only model that fit those dimensions. Would not work… not even to heat water. It has a special diagnostic feature which is supposed to transmit information to the service center over the phone, but when I called to use this feature, I was told by service that THE TECHNOLOGY HAD NOT YET BEEN DEVELOPED TO READ THE INFORMATION BEING TRANSMITTED! We returned the unit but we had to purchase another of the same model as this is the only one that fits our shelf. The microwave sings in an annoying chime when cooking is complete. This feature does not seem to be able to be turned off. It is a very confusing microwave in that all the buttons are on an inside panel and it is hard to figure out how to operate the display. How I wish we had a different size shelf so that we would not need to go with this model!
