Device cooks well, but the directions are not easily understood and there are NO LIGHTS on the panel. I really like LG products, but I wouldn't buy this again if I had realized it didn't have a lit panel. I have to use a flashlight to see what control I want.

I have had this microwave for about a month now and I can truly say I wish I had never bought it. I hate that most of the controls are on the inside of the door so you have to make all your setting selections THEN close the door and start it. This unit does not have a numeric key pad so you can only select times in increments of 5 secs (up to so many minutes) and then 30 second increments after that. (Example of why this sucks) I try to soften butter but it is either still hard or runny because I can't narrow the time down to a specific time. There are a lot of preset functions but it's hard to know what to select. Selection pad does not light up so it's hard to see what you are selecting (unless you have a light between you and the controls. I am actually thinking of dumping this unit and getting a different one.

Lots of nice features. It helps to read the instructions to understand the controls. Love the inverter -defrost senses the temp and doesn’t cook the ends of the meat. Same for cooking. Very nice!

Do not buy this LG - NeoChef 1.5 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave with Sensor Cooking Stainless Steel. It did not last long. The door sensor actually stopped working a few months after we purchased this. We didn't even have this microwave for 6 months and it started malfunctioning. The warranty is useless. Instead of issuing a refund or sending a technician to repair it, LG wanted me to bring this to the repair shop and basically live without a microwave for a few weeks.

Looks great but not very powerful. I have to add 30 seconds more than my previous whirlpool microwave.

I really like this microwave, the only thing it is missing is the ability to punch in the amount of min/sec, you need to hit the + sign to increase operation time.

The microwave is perfect for my husband who has vision issues.

Nice and fancy microwave. Almost too fancy and technologically advance that my staff struggle to operate it. Lol

Beat Buy gets 5 stars for great customer service and super fast delivery - twice! The machine only gets one star because of a high pitched electronic buzz that it produces when plugged in (running or not, awake or in eco mode). I liked the look, feel (it’s not cheap plastic stuff), advertised functions and size of this microwave, but both the original purchased microwave and its return replacement made that noise which sounds to us as if there are some poor connections in it. Definitely doesn’t sound safe or like something that will last very long. Bummer! On to some other brand and model....

Performs as specified. It has been difficult transitioning from my previous 1,000 watt to this 1,200-watt appliance.

I like the sensor cook and reheat feature for different foods. I have found any food cold in the middle since using this microwave. I also like the defrost feature for meat.

Almost everything works as well as it should, but the door should have had a push button to open. At best it is a left handed door. It is very firm to open which for safety sake is proper but a push button, in my opinion would have made it simpler to open.

Like the style and the clean look. Have always had over the stove microwaves and this is my 1st countertop. Remodeling my kitchen and decided to go with microwave in the island on a shelf. I really like it a lot.

Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. I hope it lasts longer than my last LG so time will tell. It takes a little getting used to of not having the full keypad but it has a lot of built in preset settings.

Careful with how long you put your food it heats food up quickly!

I bought this microwave for my mom to replace one that she bought 10 years ago. The display was different than what she was used to, but learned how to use it quickly. LG is a quality brand.

Quality is not all there. Broken after one year of usage. The screen keep reading door open. And won’t start.

This microwave gets under my skin in s way that no microwave ever has. There's no numbers buttons which means that you don't have control over how long you cook your food. The sensor technology is cool, but you have no clue how much time something will take to cook as it doesn't give you a visual number until it gets too the last couple of minutes. And then, sometimes your food isn't all the way cooked and you have to basically start over. I will be returning this microwave and getting a more traditional one.

I am on my fifth microwave oven in 20 years at my household. Brands that have let me down - GE, Frigidaire and now LG. I believe that the sub $200 microwaves are just not made well at all. I purchased the LG NeoChef because it typically sells for more than $200 but was on sale. With the exception the Frigidaire, which CAUGHT FIRE, the LG lasted the shortest before I started to have issues - the dreaded F-3 error which I had attempted to have service twice in the first year under LG's one-year warranty program but the service technician could not duplicate the problem and said "I just need to let it sit and it may eventually go away." The problem - you can't use the oven at all when the F-3 error happens. It disables the front panel and prevents you from using the oven for 10 minutes to 2 hours. One other annoyance, you can only set the timer on 10 second intervals.
