They microwave functions very well but it appears LG went for form over function with the controls. Traditional number pad style buttons have been reduced down largely to two, sensor cook and sensor reheat. You have to toggle through the subsequent iterations to get to what you want. For example to cook a potatoe you have to hit sensor reheat 6 times. There are a few other nuances like this that make the controls not efficient. If you can get past that it looks nice and cooks well.

This microwave the does An excellent job of heating and reheating food or liquids. It also has a very pleasant sound when the item is finished cooking

This is a very cool-looking microwave. The coolest one we have ever had. It functions well. It fits into the space we have very ideally.

We've had the microwave for about a month now and it works beautifully. We like the simple controls. There are more controls that are accessible when the door is open, including a few preset items - which are very easy to use (with setting info on the trim inside the door so you don't have to pull out the owner's manual each time you wonder how to thaw beef, etc.). It does not have a way to enter, for example, 38 seconds because the smallest increment you enter is 10 seconds - we have come to appreciate this simplicity and enjoy it. Highly recommended.

Very efficient. Popcorn button works well. Nice design and easy to clean. Like the signal which is a song.

We enjoy our NeoChef 1.5 cu but miss a numeric keypad. I'm very disappointed by the buzzing that the cabinet makes while the microwave is running. It is so annoying, and it would have been so easy to design and/or build the microwave without this defect. It would be too much trouble to pack it up and return it during the pandemic; and who knows if a replacement would have the same defect. Once the one-year warranty period is over, I'll open up the cabinet and fix it myself.

Love how sleek the microwave looks. It also works well, no complaints. The only downside is that it doesn't have a lot of presets.

We really like this unit. It is a sleek design and looks great in our kitchen. The majority of the buttons/controls are on the inside of the door...so it is a very neat and tidy appearance. For a smaller microwave it cooks quickly with 1200 watts. Probably my favorite feature is the little song it plays when it has finished...instead of a beep. If there was one thing I wish was different would be that times are only in 10 second increments, but that is easy enough to work with!

A Powerful and innovative mid-size microwave with sensor, inverter smart cooking. It plays music when done instead of a harsh alarm, and repeats music at intervals in case you forget that food was in the microwave. I like the enamel interior, much nicer than normal white microwaves. Also the interior dimensions make better use of space and is surprising roomy for the microwave size. The Bright LED cooking/open door light shows food progress during cooking. The sliding timer takes getting used to and is slower than entering numbers for the time, it has its advantages, especially once you get used t it.

Stopped working 12 days shy of two years. Definitely get the protection plan for this one! Love the design. Can turn off the beeps and don't have to set a clock -- both features that I strongly value.

I love this microwave. It does it's job very well, then it sings a little song at the end. I wish the cord was longer though.
