Size is right, heats fine, is a bit noisy - and no way to set a “specific” timer. Can only be set in increments of 10secs. Nothing smaller - so like 10 seconds or 20 seconds , but not 15 seconds.

This microwave is sleek and modern. Heats food perfectly. Would highly recommend. The only small thing to get used to is how to enter cook time using the slider and that there are no 5 second increments only 10.

Appearance is great, that's as far as it goes. Unfortunately, in less that 18 months, the MWO stopped working, Mind you, it is used in a household of ONE senior, who uses it to warm food here and there. Contacted LG who would not do anything even though they have the codes from the MWO... they wanted a receipt... OKAY now we have the purchased in late November 2023 for a Christmas 2024 gift, let's see what they will do next. Maybe it was an unlucky lemon... I wish this review was more about a great experiience, but truth must be told.

My old large microwave was over 34 years old. The new ones were so confusing. I wanted a large microwave. Although not as large as my old one I can still get most things in it. The biggest objection is the timer. Since I have two microwave ovens, I can still use the timer on my other old microwave. Defrosting by weight seems to be too long and so I have to keep checking it. At 75 years of age I did figure out how to use this microwave and like it.

This is the first LG appliance I've bought. It's so intuitive and sleek looking that I'm planning to replace my frig stove and dishwasher with sleek LG appliances

Great microwave, replaced a different brand that lasted 5-6 years. Super powerful, and the sensor reheat works perfect. A tune plays unlike the beep of a typical microwave when it finishes. It doesn’t bother us at all, but check the web to hear for yourself.

We chose the LG midsize microwave because we have been pleased with the quality and performance of our LG refrigerator and it does not disappoint. The microwave oven feels solid and well engineered and is attractive. Most importantly, it has functioned very well. It warms leftovers and beverages quickly and evenly and works better than our previous microwave oven at defrosting meats.

It's a great little microwave. If you can get the next model up with physical numbers on the outside, however if you have just a bit of patience you get used to the slider on the outside and it's not that big a deal to use the buttons behind the door. A lot of reviews say the chime is annoying but if your in the LG family of products your used to them anyways.
