We realized we needed a microwave with more power. We had the same type oven in 900 watt size, but it just wasn't heating fast enough. This is its big brother, works just the same, but heats very fast by comparison. All the controls and operations are identical to the previous one, and the little tune it plays when it's done is delightful

We bought a Panasonic Microwave from Amazon. It just seemed cheap. The door wouldn't close. We returned it. (No problem with reimbursement) Went to Best Buy so we could see the device. the LG is a much more substantial microwave, and works very well. Only issue is getting used to the slider control for setting cook time and count down timer.

I enjoy how sleek this looks. I enjoy the pleasing sound it makes when food is ready. But that's about it. When people come over they can't figure it out and need to be shown. There is a specific button order needed to use the inner control buttons for anything other than "go". The sensor cook makes no sense. For a 250$ microwave and you can't turn off the "beep" sound and there is no "butter soften" option. BUT the real issue is here at 14 months old it bricks. F - 11 error code. Thank goodness for geek squad protection!

It is really hard to find a decent microwave! After a lot of searching, the reviews for this one convinced me to try it. So far I absolutely love it. I've had it for almost two months. Still waiting to see if it will hold up well, but I love the features, and the little tune it plays when it is done cooking. The controls take a little getting used to, but they don't bother me at all. I highly recommend.

Needed a counter microwave. Checked out the reviews and pricing matched budget, so picked up. Simplest set up, (take out of box and plug in). Tricky thing with this microwave than previous microwaves is that you plug in the settings when door is open. Can set up timer with door still open and closed. Works great so far and would recommend.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! This is one of the best microwaves I’ve had. The power is amazing, we’ve cooked steaks and other goodies in it. The popcorn setting is spot on and now I’m not burning my popcorn.

I've had this microwave for 2 weeks & am very pleased with its design and operation.

A good machine, but controls and programming are difficult. To get to a lower power you have to press-press-press. Times are incremental at 10 second intervals. To get to a longer time, again, you have to hold down the button and it goes so fast, you have to usually go back and forth to get to the desired time.

We had a microwave that lasted nearly 25 years. It was very weak, so it took some time to adjust to this new microwave. It's so nice to not have to waste a bunch of time waiting on food to heat up and this unit does a wonderful job heating items evenly. My favorite part is the pleasant little tune it plays when the cook cycle has completed, especially that it stops as soon as you open the door.

Lg is good brand. Works well for our needs. Just the right size.
