The noise it makes when it’s done is a little long but if that’s the only downside so far I’ll take that trade-off for a great microwave.

Didn't Last the Warranted time

Was good value for the money and we used it daily. Loved the Quick start(30 sec) button on front panel. but felt it was stating to wear out due to holding it too long for adding increments for longer time settings. It did burn popcorn the first few times, but we figured out when to stop based on popping sounds. Made the best nachos with melting cheese at 60% setting.

Best countertop microwave

It heats food so much faster and evenly. The music it plays when finished is cute and much better than an annoying beep. I absolutely recommend it.

Good-looking with hidden yet accessible cooking buttons and plenty of options. So far, so good. It cooks /warms up food fast. Thanks LG and Best Buy for this awesome product.

Excellent countertop microwave

This being said, I did have to return the first one I purchased (something loose internally when running), but I was impressed at how easy Best Buy made the in-store return/exchange process. The second one I took home has worked flawlessly, and I really like the Black Stainless Steel color

Star rating is irrelevant, due to the brief ownership experience. This purchase replaced the Kenmore microwave oven I had for 25 years that worked perfectly, until the centerpiece of the plastic spindle that fits into the hole on the bottom of the oven to rotate the glass plate softened and warped inside the hole. Can this LG microwave oven rival that lifespan, I wonder. Who knows?

Poor design makes this microwave undesirable

It made a low level grinding noise while running. It sounded like the rotating mechanism was somehow defective and grinding while turning. I made sure the glass platter and carriage wheels were assembled properly. I also tried rotating by hand. I came to the conclusion that there was nothing mechanically wrong, it was just something about the design of the platter/wheels that caused the noise. However, my wife would not accept it. And I agreed. The microwave we were replacing made suspicious noises prior to failing. And the noise made by this new one was unsettling even though I was 85% sure there was nothing wrong.
