But after 5 years with my last one, I decided to try something new. I had points to use and this lg microwave was on sale. It is taking me a while to use the control buttons because I am not used to the control settings, like setting cooking time and power. Different from Panasonic but I am getting faster the longer I use it. Really like that it has a chime that reminds you that you have food in the microwave. The lighting is great, too. Both of these features were not available on my Panasonic model.

With how much I originally paid I thought I wouldn’t have to buy a new microwave within 4 yrs. When first purchased I thought it was the best microwave I had ever had. A plate of food would be steaming hot within a minute and haLf of warming. Now it takes bout 5 minutes to warm a plate of food, it wont pop popcorn and none of the sensors work on the inside . In order to work the microwave you have to use the start/stop , plus and minus sensors on the outside to use. It also has cause sparks inside from the rust spots.
