The ability to cook at different power levels is a great option. It does not just cook at the same temperature intermittently but rathe cooks at a lower wattage. The time of cooking is a little awkward. I stead of punching in numbers you press a plus or minus key.

The LG 10 year warranty is a joke. It covers the "Magnetron", literally only the part itself. So, if the magnetron goes out, you are still responsible for paying the labor to install the part (after 1 year warranty) by a third party. I'd stay away from this pretty looking microwave; after 1.5 year it's just a useless metal box. I have all LG appliances and was super disappointed when talking to their repair people and finding out that it's a pretty lame coverage. I'd recommend just to buy a regular microwave; I never used all the bells and whistles anyway.
