It works fine as far as heating up food goes but not much to recommend it otherwise. The turntable makes a rumbling rattly sound as it turns which is pretty trashy for a microwave in this price range. The buttons that are inside the door is a fairly dumb design as well.

Did end up having an LED on the timer go out after a couple years (microwave still worked fine). Took it to BB and they gave me the option of money back or a new one and I got a new one. Would buy again, did buy again.

Outside of door has very basic controls. You have to open door to have access to full control panel. Big plus of microwave is large capacity- 1.5 Cu. Ft. even though microwave does not take up a lot of space.

Pops a mean bag of popcorn but you have to watch it and listen for the popping to stop. Long timer on it. But reheats food nicely. Only time will tell if it lasts.

However it’s loud and the vibration from the unit is rough. The “done” alert makes a chime sounding more like a song on a carousel rather than just beeps. Thoughtful, but not necessary. I ended up taking it back, it smokes up my food in addition to the loudness.

This appears to be the latest in LG Microwave tech and wish they offered the same thing in the larger model that I needed to buy.

The user experience / controls take a bit to get used to since they tried to make the appearance as clean as possible. Now that I’m used to it, I really like it and would buy it again.

Adjusting power level more time-consuming than it needs to be. Defrost feature only has a few choices but can get around that when inputting the weight.
