    We replaced an older microwave with this one. Definitely not sorry that we purchased this microwave. It cooks efficiently and evenly and the LED light inside makes it easy to see what happening in the oven.

    Much better than any microwave that I would ever imagine. The heating and functions of this microwave are great. If it had a few more functions it would be 5 stars for the price.

    If I could go back to 2018, I wouldn’t buy this microwave. It looks sleek, but that’s where my praise ends. I never did get used to the finger slider, and think it’s crazy that you can’t cook in 5 second increments. The few buttons there are are very difficult to read, and automatic functions are there, but you need the manual to see what to press. Then it died, I sat on hold for almost two hours. There is supposed to be a troubleshooting tone you hold up to the phone, but the CS reps refused to read the tone, and insisted that the magnetron had died. OK. 10 year warranty, right? Yes, but they demand the part be replaced by an authorized service center, and I must pay for labor. I called the local service place and they want $110 minimum. I paid $179 and decided to dump it and get a GE. Sorry, LG.

    I didn't have an opportunity to use this microwave because even after all the measuring we did it diid not fit well into the space we had. So it went back tt Best Buy.

    The Smart Inverter technology works; you have to subtract 20-30 seconds from cook time to avoid over cooking. Not having a number pad and the annoying sound it makes when done cooking is what keeps me from giving it 5 stars.

    The perfect microwave for our busy family of 5. Lots of presets to help take the guessing out of how long to heat something. We're very happy with this purchase.

    Had I known how this microwave sets the cooking time, I never would have purchased it. THERE ARE NO NUMBERS TO SET THE COOKING TIME. There are three different ways to have the time go from zero until it goes past whatever time you want, and then you need to back it down. Whoever designed this microwave never used a normal microwave. I can't believe that LG ever did usability tests on it with real people. Also, the hinge on the left that opens the door extends BELOW the bottom of the microwave, so we needed to CUT the metal trim that surrounds the microwave opening in our kitchen cabinet. There is no button to press to open the door; instead you need to PULL open the door which causes the microwave to move forward in the cabinet.

    We had the magnetron, the key component of this piece of garbage fail just outside 1 year. LG claims to have a 10 year warranty, but has no authorized service centers that will repair them. If you want your product to fail just after the one year warranty, then LG is perfect for you. If you get lucky and it fails before then, you may get them to send you a new product, but only after the immense run around in their warranty department. You would be better served not buying anything LG and letting their products go straight to a recycling center so a different electronics manufacture can then gather and use the parts to build something that actually works correctly.

    Went to the Best Buy to purchase this microwave this week. It was out of stock but could be purchased from the store online. Fast delivery. Received this microwave within same week. Plugged in set the clock from the inside. The outside panel key pad do not work. Very disappointed. Been on the phone with Best Buy on hold 36 minutes. No one has picked up to answer my tech issue. Will take it to the store where I purchased this microwave

    Died 5 days after the 1 year warranty expired

    I have to admit that I used to like this microwave and I bought it because it says "10 year warranty", but the 10 years is only on the Magnatron. It was working fine and then it stopped heating items. Lights, fan, display, turntable all work, but it not longer heats. I pulled the cover to check the fuse. Still good. I guess the Magnatron has died and it should be under warranty.....however, you have to send it in for them to verify. The labor and parts aren't covered. What a waste. A replacement Magnatron is $50...but the entire microwave is no only $150. I like my LG OLED TV, but I'll be staying away from LG appliances from now on.

    I hated to replace my old microwave but when I found this black stainless LG with the inverter technology, comparable wattage and the new ceramic interior...I was sold! It’s easy to learn the keypad and so far it’s exceeded my expectations.

    The only drawback is that time is in intervals of 10, but that’s worked just fine for us. Takes some time to get used to using the up and down arrows to select a time vs punching I. The time on a keypad.

    Not completely intuitive… Inconsistent heating … one item will heat , after complete, a second identical item is put in with the same settings and doesn’t heat identical to the first…. Doesn’t over utilize space
