For example, if the package states 5 to 6 minutes, I chose 5.

Overall, we're pretty happy with the microwave. The main warning is that it burns popcorn. Personally, the mark of a great microwave is a perfect bag of popcorn. We've tried two varieties and it has burned both. It, allegedly, uses a sensor for popping so you can't even adjust the time it runs for a popcorn bag. Oh well.

Makes better popcorn than my old model and the food gets hotter quicker. I haven't cooked yet, just heated up foods.

And their warranty is a joke own several lg items will never buy any more.
