However, the fact that some of the buttons are behind the door and you have to constantly open and close it to interact with a more specific program, makes this appliance a nuisance. After less than 2 years the device is already broken, it doesn't heat anymore and is off the warranty window. I put 2 stars on the review because, despite that this is broken now, when it worked, it was able to fullfil it's purpose

Dead after less than 5 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We were very pleased with this microwave as it worked flawlessly and did a great job melting, warming, reheating. Then, in the middle of holiday baking, there was a funny sound, the microwave completely powered off, and when unplugged and plugged back in, there was an immediate melting plastic/wiring smell. We unplugged it again and contacted LG via their website. That was a week ago (today is 2 January 2018) and we have not heard from LG other than an automated response that they would quickly send out return for repair instructions. To be fair, I did not contact Best Buy about this, but will today, and will update this review as this gets resolved.
