Wish I read these negative reviews before I bought

It seems that all the negative reviews had the same thing in common...they all quit within months of purchase. While the $170.00 we paid for it won't break us, you can be sure that we will never purchase an LG product again. If this was an automobile, there would have been a recall for faulty parts. There are many other companies out there to choose from that will get our business next time. Total junk!

My ten year old GE microwave had simple buttons to push. Why the glide for time? Why all the codes for cooking food? It’s easier than that.

Don't like the wheel set up under the microwave plate and is not easy to put plate back on center spinner after cleaning.

Also cooked frozen spaghetti , one on auto one with package times. Auto sucks . Overcooked. Keypad on inside of door.

Posted .We hate to hear you are unhappy with your new microwave. The Sensor system works by detecting the built up steam. Never use tight-sealing plastic covers. They can prevent steam from escaping and cause food to overcook. For a frozen entree: Remove from outer display package. Slit cover. If not in microwave-safe container, place on a microwaveable plate and cover with vented plastic wrap. After cooking, let stand in microwave oven 3 minutes. We hope you find this information helpful. It lasted 2 months then died. Called for warranty and they would only reimburse us if we purchased the same unit and only the original sale price we paid. 2nd unit was not on sale at the time. Did a price adjustment later when it did go on sale but still not the sale Black Friday price. The new unit is so far so good. But I would not recommend. Don’t like not having a number keypad. Having to enter info on buttons inside prior to closing the door. Poor design.
