    This works fine. My complaint is that there is no back light for controls. Mine needs to sit in a dark corner of the kitchen and this makes it difficult to see controls even with the lights on.

    It's a piece of junk. We have to have one, otherwise I would have brought it back. I still may, but this lousy virus mess has everything screwed up. It rattles like it's 50 years old. This is our second one. We already exchanged our first one we got from you guys. You should remove all of these from your inventory. If this is an example of LG product quality, I'd drop everything from them.

    LG is usually my fav brand of appliance. Samsung is my fav TV brand. This LG microwave- I thought- was going to be sleek and cool but instead it rattled loudly from the back of the machine when cooking (which was my last straw to cause the return) and was inconvenient because you have to open the door to input the cook time and settings then close the door to press start for it to begin cooking. I’m not sure what the design gurus were thinking with this one but this microwave had to be returned.

    It lasted a little over a year. And now it no longer heats. This product doesn't last. And I'm not the only one. Wish I would have read more reviews before buying. 10 year warranty covers the cost of one part, NOT the cost of diagnosis and repair. Disappointed in both LG and Best Buy - LG for slapping a "10 year warranty" on their product (which doesn't include diagnosis and repair costs) and Best Buy for selling such a poor quality product.

    LG customer service -5, Product 1. We bought the unit because it would fit in our space and had a door that you pulled to open instead of a button to push and open the door. It died after 3 months. If there is a problem, it was supposed to play a sound for LG to diagnose the problem. I called LG and they didn't even want to hear the sound, they just offered to refund my purchase price. While I am extremely happy with LG customer service, I am concerned they would not try to diagnose the problem before sending a refund.

    Plays songs when food is done. Has a reminder if you leave anything in microwave. Not a very powerful microwave. Touch/interface kind of annoying.

    Avoid “Open Box” Microwaves!

    If I could give a “0”, I would! This was an “open box” purchase that was obviously NOT inspected by the “Geek Squad” as advertised. It was classified as “like new” but would not even heat water. I tried to cook a microwaveable meal, but after 20 minutes the food was still frozen. The microwave, however, was so hot I could barely touch it. I returned the microwave and got a refund. Hopefully, it didn’t get reshelved again for another unsuspecting shopper to be duped.

    I own this unit for about 2 years. So far it works good, but....rust appeared inside in a corner. I contacted LG tech support and... they qualify it as physical damage, even when I explained that we don't use any chemicals to clean it in and out and it's factory defect. I was just told that I can request repair and pay for it and I asked repair what if the microwave works fine but we have concerns about the rust. The only answer I got is that the unit is out of warranty and cannot be fixed... It looks like I have to look for another microwave, different, more solid brand.

    Worked great, until it needed replacing. LG replaced, but had to buy new one and send in old one for reimbursement.

    The panel is too hard to read, the interior light is not bright enough, interior should be anything but black, too complicated to operate.

    Second one purchased, dead within a month

    The first one started to die about six months after we purchased it. Kept getting error codes, and LG support kept telling us to unplug it - until even that stopped working. Bought the same model to replace it, and after a month, the turntable stopped working. Then it stopped heating food, but instead the microwave's CABINET would get hot. Buy with caution, but DEFINITELY get the extended warranty. LG is impossible to deal with to make it right - and even though the second unit died 32 days after we bought it, Best Buy refused to do anything about it. Two days too late for them.

    Needed the right dimensions, most too deep

    Needed and replacement microwave to fit a space in existing cabinetry. Almost all models were to deep to fit. Sacrificed some advanced functions for right size.

    I purchased this back on 11/5/18 and while it worked, it was great. I didnt use the microwave much, i rarely eat at home but bought one because who doesn’t need a microwave. Microwave went out mid march of 2020, one of the few items i did not get an extended warranty on and out of manufacture warranty which i was told was only good for a year.

    Nope. Not worth it. It broke within 4 months and while still under warranty, I have to get someone to come look at it. Bought a Sharp instead and much better purchase. Plus, the weird slide button on this thing is hard to use.
