    hope this one last longer than the exact same model it replaced after just over 2 years when the time display crapped out

    The microwave worked great until a few weeks ago and started showing an error and continued to get worse. Didn't last 2 years..

    okay, I preferred numbers to set timer this one you have to hold buttons not convenient

    thought it would last longer, (as my old microwave did) worked like new until it stopped heating anything placed in it, it had geek squad coverage

    Have other GE products as well but this micowave is not up to par with other brands

    Don't Buy This MIcrowave

    I bought this to replace a 15-year-old LG microwave that was still working but was only 1,000 watts. The first unit was shipped to me and immediately had a problem with the motor that drives the turntable. So I packed it up and dragged it back to Best Buy for a replacement, which I got immediately. The replacement is now two weeks old and makes an awful vibrating noise after it runs about one minute. It still heats but I can't imagine that noise is a good sign. But I am not going to drag yet another microwave back to the store for another bad replacement. It is a very expensive lesson but I will never buy an LG product again. I suggest you investigate the other negative ratings for this unit - I wish I had taken them more seriously.

    I could not design a more user unfriendly control interface if I tried. Very steep learning curve, we quit before the end after two weeks of trying. Being constrained to increments of ten seconds didn't work for us on the lower end. The finished signal was very annoying as it was a tune which kept repeating if you couldn't get to it right away.

    We bought our microwave just 7 months ago. It is just my husband and I, no kids. There is already rust inside, we have to wipe out the inside after every use. It just holds onto all moisture. We have now noticed a small chip on the door that is also starting to rust. The sensor feature is unreliable. We were super impressed at the beginning, only to never use it now. Save your money and stick with a basic microwave.

    Not my favorite. Chimes are aggravating, can’t do time in 5 second increases. Wouldn’t buy again.

    Works great until it dies

    I bought it at the end of Dec 2018. All of a sudden at the end of June 2019, it trips the circuit breaker and just won't work. LG is offering to reimburse me, which is great on their part but indicates they have no idea what's wrong with it. I had bought the 2 year extended warranty so I'm going to see what Geek Squad has to say first. Not sure I want to try it again with a replacement.

    piece of junk! only had this for two years, says 10 year warranty, actually only 90 days. stayed running if door was shut for a while then timer everything works but it dont cook or come on just count down. used to have cheap unit it lasted 30 years.

    We selected this because of it was highly rated by Consumer Reports. Either they are wrong or we got a lemon. Underpowered. Rattles whenever in use. Poorly constructed. We still have our previous 20 y.o. Panasonic microwave and are considering beginning to use it again and selling this clunker in a garage sale!

    The microwave is not intuitively easy to use. It does not beep when done but plays a a little tune.

    Ours stopped heating in less than a year. I called LG only to be told lies and made to jump through hoops for LG to stand behind their junk. LG has made the warranty almost unusable. They make you go buy another one and tell you they will send you a check within 4-6 weeks. You have to upload so much crap that older folks im sure will give up and just forget the warranty. I think its what LG depends on. It would also be nice if LG would hire agents that could speak english. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM LG PRODUCTS AND THE WORTHLESS WARANTY

    Died while not being actively used

    It lasted 12 days. On day 11 started tripping breaker, not during use, just sitting threre. On day 12 it died quietly. Going to replace with same model. Assuming it was just a random lemon.
