    This unit is very noisy. It is also smaller than the last one even thought it was the same size on the description.

    Too conplex for simple usage

    Over designed microwave. No number options, all done as a sensor cook. You can only manually add time by 30sec i believe. Had to return it. Way over complicated for a simple appliance.

    Returned this within a week. 1. No lighting on the controls. Your kitchen needs to have the interior lighting of a White Castle to read the function controls. They are not lighted. 2. Overly Complicated Presets. The S-1,2,3 etc preset functions make cooking or reheating like launching an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. I'm sure this is a great microwave, but the features are not worth the trouble.

    Purchased September 17 2020. As on March 20 2021, the unit no longer heats. As far as the unit itself, the slider timer is nice but sensitive. I would often go past my desired time. Would not recommend.

    Broke. Terrible support.

    Turns out that LG support is the worst. Microwave broke 45 days after purchase. Support gives the run around, won't return promised calls. The support website has problems, chat support wastes time and then needs you to call in anyway, and phone support wanted me to call best buy, even though the return period was part! We have multiple LG appliances (was our favorite brand) but never needed support before. Terrible!

    Beware Faulty Display Panel

    Cooks food just fine, but display panel is not functioning properly after purchasing in July 2019. Prior to this I had a Sharp microwave that worked perfectly fine for 14+ years.

    I've only had the microwave for 3 weeks, yet only just got to use it this week. It makes a horrible sound, with or without anything on the turntable.

    worked great for 90 days, now it makes strange noises, like scissors closing. Not heating food. Have to bring it in and wait for a repair. I knew I should not have bought an LG product, never will buy anything LG again

    I am quite disappointed in the durability of this microwave even more so since it is LG. I felt the price point was a little high, but found comfort in it being LG. I doubt that I will ever take the plunge on LG appliances again.
