    Not heating just after 1 years 9months

    I bought this microwave oven on Black friday 2019, today 1 year 9 months, the oven stop working. It keep spinning when u hit start but Not cooking or heating at all. What a beautiful and expensive microwave that wouldn’t last 2 years. Break down after the warranty expired! What a wasted! Not recommend! Get something else cheaper and do better job and reliable than this junk wasted of resources!

    The microwave was great and then after about 13 months and it stopped working and was out of warranty and they wouldn’t fix it

    microwave stopped working 5 months after purchasing. contacted LG and they sent a new one, but we were out a microwave for almost 2 weeks. Hopefully the new one lasts longers.

    Have trouble figuring out all the settings. Sometimes have to unplug and restart to get the reheat settings to work. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

    I immediately hated and returned this microwave. My last microwave was LG and was great, lasted 8 years and I just wanted the same thing. The sound when heating is finished is super annoying and I found it unintuitive and difficult to use when I just want to heat something quickly or set a timer

    at first, i loved this microwave. But now, it turns on but does not heat anything. Contacted Lg, but Lg has been very disappointing in their customer service. They asked me to send them the receipt of purchase via email and i did it. They said they will refund but no refund what so ever and they didn't even get back to me. I'm extremely disappointed.

    The controls are very difficult to use. There are no numeric buttons to select time, but rather very complex 10 second and sliding scale for + and - timers. In addition the whole unit shorted out after six months of ownership. While that is ridiculous, I was happy to get rid of it and replace it with a more user friendly microwave.

    Smoking...not in a good way

    We got the microwave and before putting anything in we set it up and put it on to test it out. I started smelling something burning (electrical?) and then looked inside and could see little whisps of smoke inside while nothing else (not even the turntable) was in the microwave. Did some more research and saw this has happened to others. Wrapped it back up and sent it back.

    Unit broke after less than a year of daily use, problem is parts are covered, but to get a tech out to location in NYC exceeds the cost of buying a new model

    Purchased this microwave to replace an older still functioning unit (over 10 years old), and this one lasted less than 18 months before it started tripping the electrical breaker in my home...Contacted LG to see about any warranty coverage and was told there is nothing they can do after 12 months....I do not recommend this microwave or any other LG product as they are inferior products with little customer support.....buy at your own risk...…...

    Died after 15 months and warranty is a joke

    This microwave was purchased and used for 15 months before it died. LG support was useless. They recommended two repair shops, one of which has a 2-star average review score, the other, no storefront. For the price, I would expect a longer life or at least a warranty that doesn't involve jumping through hoops to get a repair.

    two years later and light is out on control panel

    I cannot see the time which makes it hard to use. It's only 2 years old. the part is $66 plus tax and shipping.

    I've purchased hundreds of appliances as a real estate investor and have always been warned to stay away from LG. I finally buy one for my office and it only lasted 1 month! Shame on me. Disclaimer is that it was a brand new open box item, my go to for savings for 20 years though.

    This was the first and last LG microwave I will ever purchase. Less than 3 years after purchasing, the interior coating started to bubble, peel and flake off. Now, I am stuck with a rusty microwave that is unsafe to use. Took special care to regularly clean, since this microwave looked very nice. This product only looks nice and hi-tech, do not waste your money.
