Front glass was shattered when I took it from the box

Worked only for 3 months. I did not like it al all.

The NeoChef was purchased as a replacement for our 10 year old LG which was failing. The new unit is the same size as our previous microwave and fits in the limited space on our countertop. It is well designed, easy to use. and reasonably priced.

Large interior space and very easy to use with minimal effort to set time. Sleek design. Plays nice tune when finished. Repeats if door not opened for removal of food. Great product.

Have been very pleasantly surprised with this microwave. They did all the little things right. The controls are streamlined and intuitive. The light comes on when you open the door and during cooking. All but essential controls are hidden behind the door - I thought I wouldn't like this, but it works, and when the door is open the light illuminates these, very helpful. Lastly the sounds - unlike every other microwave I've had, the sounds are pleasant and not annoying. And they remind you after a minute if you don't retrieve your item. LG really thought this one through. Nice product.

I first saw the LG NeoChef a few years back, fell in love with the design, and vowed I would give it a solid look when my existing machine went to pasture; well today was the lucky day. I convinced my wife the novel user interface would be easy to learn, she agreed to give it a try, we bought it and brought it home, and now it's sitting happily on the kitchen counter, taking less counter space than the older 1.6. Here's a summary of how to use the unique user interface: the presets and functions will take time to explore, but they are conceptually standard fare, so I'll come back to address them later, and address the manual user interface now, as it's where this device distinguishes itself. 1. To heat something at full power, simply put the food in the oven, shut the door, and swipe the "time line" (my name for it) left and/or right until the cooking time you want is displayed. The response and "acceleration" are nicely scaled, and the process is very quick and easy. I've used the twiddly knobs, and I believe this is easier and faster. Then hit "Start", and the machine will burst into life. Yes, you can fiddle with the plus and minus buttons inside the door before closing the door, but the method I have described is faster. 2. To heat something at less than full power, put the food in the oven, touch the time button - at which point 10 seconds will show up, set it to something bigger if you wish, but you don't have to (I'll explain momentarily). Now touch the power button. "P-HI" will show. Now you close the door. The display will be showing the power setting, and you can adjust it using the time-line. Then touch "Start" and the microwave will start to cook. At that moment the display changes to time, and you can now adjust the time with the time-line. The display will be counting down as you do so, but its easy enough to add new time to the remaining time. This isn't the method described in the manual, but it is very fast, and i predict that you will adopt this method. Other notes: the LED internal light is on when the door is open, not just when cooking, but it will time out after a few minutes and shut the light off if you leave the door open. When operating, the light is well bright enough. When the programmed cycle is done, the device will play a little tube rather than buzz rudely at you. It's not adjustable, but neither is it too offensive; and it shuts off the moment you open the door. The finish is good, the door latch is simple and easy to use, with no buttons to push (so the machine doesn't slide around the surface it sits on), and I am happy with the price. All in all, I'm very happy with this device, and would strongly recommend it. I'll share my wife's opinion and our experiences with the pre-programmed modes in the near future.

Apart from the size (it’s big!), this was a definite upgrade from my previous countertop which seems woefully under powered in comparison! I particularly like the ability to add time in 10s increments and all the auto cooking modes. I wish there was a way to change/disable the chimes but that’s a minor gripe. The design is clean and the controls are intuitive. Minor nit is that the auto mode takes too long to ‘compute’ and is only useful for long programs.

We have been very pleased with this microwave. We have been using it for about two months. We were able to purchase it for a good price. It is very sleek and has a nice design. It has a very nice, stable turntable, and the functions are easy to use and understand. I also like the way the door opens and closes.

Works great and its the perfect size. Very spacious, heats up food fast. I have used the smallest version before and loved it so I bought the bigger one for the our break room at work. Only thing I will say is the touchscreen is very sensitive and some people might not like that or how modern it is. I find that you get used to it quick though.

This is a great microwave. Powerful, quiet and a sleek design. Very happy I chose this make and model!

We replaced a very expensive, highly overrated over-the-range Kenmore convection/microwave with this little beauty so we could install a REAL vent hood exhaust fan. I was skeptical at first that a $200 microwave could replace an $800 Kenmore Elite but, let me tell you, you will NOT be disappointed. That said, we do only use the microwave mostly for reheating and some cooking. I never used the convection feature on my microwave as I have a countertop convection toaster oven and a full-size Jenn-Air convection gas range. This little beauty is powerful, easy to use and has a very pleasant end-of-time tone versus the annoying "buzz" that most microwaves have. I highly recommend this microwave!

This LG Microwave has been a positive surprise. Best uniform heating of food we've experienced, and the operation has soft sounds that are pleasant. Controls are accurate and easy to learn, and cover the range of usage we need.

The high power and sensor cooking makes for quick and easy defrosting, cooking and heating. I especially like the reminder tones that tell me I left my cooked veggies in the microwave. Very easy to operate and clean. We love it.

Easy to use, easy to clean, main options printed on face of microwave so you don't have to look things up in the manual. I like the reminder chime to remind you that what you are heating up is done.

Works well, nice easy to use functions that actually seem to work and not over cook. It’s a nice looking machine that cleans easy. Overall happy with the purchase. Only draw back is the chimes are a little more than what is required.

very good performance and sleek look. the only problem i encountered is that the handle to open the microwave is in an ackward position and very hard to manage with only one hand.

It’s beautiful to look at. It’s high tech. There are many presets that make using it simple. I haven’t used it for anything other than reheating so far. Quick setting make that a breeze. It was a great choice. The wattage beats my previous 35 year old microwave’s power.

Easy setup, features I have never had before in a microwave and very intuitive. extremely efficient and easy to operate and clean. Device was well priced, MAJOR bang for the buck!
