The only thing stainless on the unit are the small strips around the front door. Something to keep in mind if is not built in. Seems to heat well.

Bought this from Best Buy in Aug 2017 and it worked great for 2 1/2 years. Tried heating up a bowl of soup and after 5 minutes it's still as cold as it was when we got it out of the fridge. For the 2 1/2 years it worked it heated our food quickly and evenly. We loved the popcorn sensor, although after cooking the first bag perfectly subsequent bags had to be pulled ~10 seconds early or they would burn. Unfortunately the warranty has expired (except the magnatron, which it seems is the cause - but labor is no longer covered). Extremely disappointed in the lifespan of this product!

This was a Christmas gift in Dec 2019, that we started using early in that month. Our Panasonic’s door was having such issues that it made the fact the microwave still worked, useless. So we went to BEST BUY to pick out a new microwave with a better door mechanism. Lg is a loved brand at our home, but it’s been one year and exactly two months past warranty and it no longer heats anything! No codes are popping up!??? It’s simply makes staticky sounds and zero warmth to our foods or beverages! One year?!? This wasn’t a cheap purchase and for it to fail after barely a year of use makes me angry. I’m giving it three stars because functionality wise it works very well and we loved it till we didn’t anymore. My Panasonic lasted 8 years before we bought the LG to replace it. Go to Costco, buy the Panasonic and just keep moving. LG microwaves seem to not live up to the quality of their TVs or other appliances.

Great microwave - but does make a lot of noise. Mine constantly sounds like there's some vibration in there and I returned/exchanged for the same model only for a similar experience.

Bought this in 2018 and it's still cooking expertly! It is showing it's age and I am looking for a new LG. VERY SATISFIED.

I'll start with the controls. They are user-unfriendly. You have to punch the 10 sec and/or 30 sec repeatedly until you get the correct cooking time. There are other controls on a panel inside, but you need to get the manual out to figure them out. It has a ridiculous slide-bar timer that can only be used if you have a very slender finger like ET. It also has a Swiss Yodel tune (seriously!) when it's done cooking that is very annoying. My wife and I had resigned ourselves to buying a $100 microwave every year, but this one only lasted 7 months. If you do buy it, save your receipt! Fortunately we did and LG is refunding our purchase since it died within the warranty period.

died after 3 weeks of minimal use so I had to go thru the manufacturer, BB only allows you to bring broken products back to the store before 14 days -- a ridiculously short time. Amazon and most retailers have a 30 return policy. The Best Buy appliance service line has the worst people I've ever encountered, they keep putting you on hold and give you incorrect information. I won't be buying another LG microwave NOR will I be shopping at Best Buy again. The tune the microwave plays at the end of cooking is really annoying - there's a way to turn the clock off but not the tune? Obviously LG doesn't care about consumer complaints since pretty much every review mentions this. Also you need a flashlight to see any of the inside cooking buttons. It looks nice, but that's all that's good about it.

great product for the money spent. Worked prefect in my kitchen.

Had an older version of this unit that lasted about 5 years, then "died". So bought this newer version of the same oven. Sadly this new unit still has the bothersome feature of having to unplug and then plug back in to be able to set the clock when there is a power outage. (not handy when you have to pull unit out of a cabinet slot.) Also there is a noisy irritating vibration when the glass "table" rotates that never happened on the older version.

This is the Best microwave oven ever!!! Cannot believe how well it heats everything "EVENLY" thru the plate Or bowl that I've used. Great for Cooking frozen meals,no cold spots or food burnt too the edges.

Get one with a keypad. Pressing the start or the + button over and over and over to add time is ridiculous, especially since the buttons aren't very reactive and often require more than one press to get it to activate ... so you're looking at about fifty button presses to microwave something for a few minutes. And the kitchen timer is behind the door so I have to open the microwave if I want to time something that's going on on the stove. I didn't give it one star just because this microwave seems extra powerful compared to ones I've had before.

Great product. Heats things up well. Big and useful.

The user interface is not very user friendly. Times can only be set 10 second increments until 3 minutes, then in 30 second increments. Interior does not clean well. There is a white haze on the interior finish. It also makes food way too hot.

I’ve only been using this for a couple weeks and am now used to the slide timer. Not sure I can go back to clicking numbers. In fact, that’s the only way I use it - select a time and hit start. I have found that only my thumb will work with the start button.

Disappointed. Opening the door is awkward, I would like some sort of handle. There should be an easier way to get temperatures like 45 degrees. My old microwave was more convenient than this one.
