    This one did not last long at all. Seemed once it hit the year mark it wouldn’t heat the food anymore. They don’t make them like they used to.

    Lasted 5 years then stopped heading things up. Repair would cost around $300 if LG supplies the part for free so...this is trash now I suppose. Bummed.

    Was hoping it would last a little longer

    Worked well, when it did. Suddenly quit working after 36 months. Absolutely no heat but all the other electronic functions still work. Cost for diagnosis and repair too expensive.

    We bought this microwave on august 2021 and it died on December 2022, just over a year. Obviously we are very disappointed with this product, as it was not that cheap. We thought we were buying somehow a quality item but we were so wrong. We cook a lot at home, and we just use microwaves to heat up milk in the morning, or leftovers, so we didn’t overuse it. Don’t buy this product! It won’t last!

    Didn’t even outlive COVID

    We bought this less than 2yrs ago and worked great… until it started SPARKING inside the machine and making a horrible noise. If I hadn’t been standing right next to the microwave, it would’ve caught fire. I do not recommend this microwave obviously.

    Garbage Warranty, Broke in less than two years

    Great Microwave, until it broke a year and a half after purchasing. The Magnetron's "10 year warranty" that "covers the part" requires you to pay one of their service techs to replace the part. So even though I am well qualified to do the repair, I would have had to pay someone else to do it. Piece of garbage.

    Good looking product and great when it worked, but it ultimately died in less than 2 years. For a $200+ microwave, I would not recommend this product.

    Just out of warranty and now unsafe/inoperable.

    After 2 faulty units when purchased in Oct 2020, finally got one we were happy with until it just now, 15 months later, started not heating things correctly. And now a puff of electrical smoke. Right, just out of warranty and after the quality control problems we had up front.... Learned our lesson so not getting another....

    It only lasted for 3 years of light use and then started to smoke! It heats like the first microwave ever made. Food comes out half boiling & half frozen. The hot spots are terrible, the presets are difficult to use and it's a pain to set the cook time. Save yourself a lot of hassle (& money) & buy a better brand.

    The microwave is great but I had a better price at Lowe's and BB refused to march it. Don't trust BB to honor their "price match guarantee".

    Terrible! Do not buy. Won't last.

    Interior rusted out after only 3 years. There's a hole in the metal bottom. Design defect! It doesn't draw the steam out & condensation collects in the groove for the turntable. Time setting is awkward. I have had several microwave ovens over the last 40 years & never before had to replace any because they became unusable.

    Piece of nice looking Junk!

    Used for less than two years, all of sufdden stop heating, call LG customer service and told the magnetron is broken, repair will cause you more than buy a brand new one! LG’s microwave don’t last as it used to be anymore!

    Stopped working after 7 months of light use

    Similar to other users who have given 1 star ratings, this microwave stopped working for us less than a year (~8 months) after purchase. Today, it started making a clicking noise in the middle of heating up some food, and now no longer heats anything, although the turntable, display, and light all operate fine. No error messages. Disappointed that we paid $200 for this appliance, and it didn't even last a year before breaking.

    Loud and noisy microwave

    Buzzes and rattles very loudly while running. This is the loudest, noisiest microwave I've ever had. Look for another microwave if you want something that doesn't hurt your ears while using it. Overall quality feels cheap.

    LED light went out oh no

    Our LG mircowave stopped working one year and five days after we purchased it. Called LG and thay would not replace it. Best Buy was of not help. Our previous microwaves, Panasonic and GE, lasted six and five years respectively. Last LG appliance of any sort that we will purchase.

    Magnetron failed

    Worked fine before magnetron died, after just short of 4 years of ownership. LG will provide part without cost, HOWEVER we have to pay for the labor. Extremely disappointing.
