    Failed after less than 17 months. No longer cooks. LG's answer is basically to take it, at our expense, to a service location and see if the one component that they cover is the cause. The cost to do so is likely more than the cost of a new microwave.

    Purchased two years ago and now doesn't heat anymore. Purchasing a new one. LG offered a rebate on a replacement

    No Life expectancy from LG…

    It lasted 5 yrs and stopped heating. My old microwave before this one was 20yrs old and still working fine! Hope all my other LG appliances don’t die like this did. Will not be buying another LG at this point.

    Had microwave for less than 5 months when it quit heating. called LG's service center and was told the only way to get our money back was to buy another one and submit the new receipt to them. Really do not want another LG microwave so We are out $232.09

    Was great now it is NOT working

    Microwaved worked great until a few days ago. It won't even power on. Like others, had it for two years and now it will not work. We purchased November 2018. For $200+ it should last more than 2 years.

    Lg is garbage

    Dont purchase Lg microwaves. Mine caught on fire but they would not honor their warranty. Theur customer service is terrible. No one should have to wait 3 hours to try to resolve an issue.

    Only lasted a year and 3 months. Manufacturer warranty only covers parts not labor. its cheaper to buy another one. Or make sure you get extended warranty.

    Buyer Beware

    I purchased this microwave and after the 14 day return policy it stopped working. It has now been around 4 weeks and I still haven't received a refund check from LG. Completely unsatisfied.

    Suddenly Quit Working After A Year

    This microwave was absolutely fantastic until it died exactly a year after purchasing. It started making a surging noise and would not heat food suddenly.

    2 months out of warranty and the thing just stopped working. I never even use the microwave much just to reheat or defrost once in a while. Will NEVER buy LG again.

    Makes a great doorstop

    Stopped functioning one month after purchase. Best Buy would not take the item back. The manufacturer offered a refund. Total waste of time.
