The first one was less than a year old and the power would shut of while using it. This started happening frequently. Thought it was just a faulty microwave so we exchanged it for the same model. Had the new one two weeks, and the power shut off while using it. Only happened once and we have had it about 2 months now. We’ll see how it performs in the upcoming months.

Similar to other 1200 Watt microwaves, you're not standing around forever waiting for the process to complete. The height is higher than others in it's cooking class. The stainless steel surface was indeed easy to clean and resists smudges. I don't know exactly why it stopped working after 5 months but it was a true workhorse. I would have purchased another one but this popular model is hard to keep in stock.
