And we needed one that would fit in the opening in the cabinet. This LG is 2.0 cu ft fits the opening nicely. It works quite well and is easy to use preset programs. Reheating beverages however seems to get thing way to hot. The other thing I do not like is the grey interior, it makes it very dark on the inside. We have always had white or almond interiors which are much easier to see your food while it is cooking.

Ft. so it would fit on my kitchen countertop. It's a wonderful microwave and I say that with lots of experience as I had this same model for several years prior.

But I have to say after my old microwave died and I looked into new microwaves. The ratings on this one was looking to be the best one. And after purchasing it and using it. It is more powerful and does really even cooking better than any microwave I have owned in the past.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After a year, the door latch popped off and the small plastic piece that broke is an internal part not easily replaced. It’s poorly engineered. The engineers of the guts (which were great so far) should be ticked off at the engineer that designed that latch and essentially turned the entire thing into a piece of junk. I called LG support per the response they gave another reviewer with the same issue. Mine is out of warranty, so I have to pay someone to come fix it. Based on this, I cannot recommend LG microwaves.
