My GE microwave died recently. I loved the GE's except this last one was the third one to die on me, each one sooner than the previous one, so I thought I would try an LG. The time cook works quite well and I like the touch panel but I'm very disappointed with the sensor cook and sensor reheat. There are seven settings yet no soup setting. The sensor cook tends to overcook. The sensor reheat is a joke. The sensor reheat on the GEs had just one setting; you just pushed one button and it just simply worked and worked well. On the LG, there are five sensor reheat settings and all of them tend to undercook. I've found time cook is far more reliable.

It worked fine, yet for a Microwave in this price range I expected more options in the cooking control. It was more like entry level controls. For example, the Popcorn button is >>ONLY<< for a 3.5 oz bag. It cannot be adjusted for other size bags. It can only do one cooking cycle. The list goes on. And the special surface that is easier to clean was nothing more than darker enamel making it harder to see grease -- but also making the cooking compartment really dark. Overall rating is just meh. Not great but also not bad. I ended up returning it and "traded down" for a lower cost model with more cooking options.

Our microwave died in the middle of much going on in our lives. With the lockdown being in full swing it was great to be able to order online and pick up outside the store. This microwave is still working well and we are thankful to know when we need something we can look around and still find the best price at Best Buy.

Purchased as the only viable replacement for old LG microwave. This model appears to have less features than the previous which had control issues. It was the only option we had that will work with the hood cover otherwise we would have had to buy a new cover if we had chosen a different brand or model.

This microwave works extremely well. It is very quite when operating and plays a musical tune when done cooking. The keypad is touch sensative and not push buttons. The only fault that I have is the clock is very bright and not adjustable.
