Good microwave. However, after a couple years digits broke up on its display.

The unit worked well for 6 months. Then repairs were needed. Light quit working (led that can not be replaced). Also it started not cooking the food. The two stars is because of the replacement policy. Instead of repairing the unit when it's broken LG will replace it. However their idea about replacement means sending you a check after you buy a new unit. They do not send you an actual replacement unit. So you are out of pocket until you get the reimbursement check. I will say on their behalf that getting them to agree the unit needed repairing or replacing was a very easy process. I'm hoping this next unit lasts longer than 6 months.

Purchased in April 2019. Stop heating after 5 months. Unexpected home repairs put us in hotel in September. When we returned home in January 2020 it worked. But now it won't heat at all. There are two disabled seniors in this house. We depend on our microwave to make our meals daily and it is very disappointing that this unit, after all we paid for it doesn't work. We live on fixed incomes. This was a big purchase made in good faith. I am at wits end. It upsets me just to think about it. This my first time writing a review because I don't want anyone else to have to go through this. We liked the unit we just needed one that works.
