However, I have to replace it every year due to malfunction of the microwave. Something always comes up I have literally replaced it four times now. This is the only microwave size that fits my needs.

Unpack, excited to be able to nuke again . . . . alas, whoever counts feet in quality assurance should be fired! One of the front "foot pads" is missing, which makes the microwave tip easily. I've seen the same issue in reviews prior to my purchase, but believed I might be lucky. I'm not young and strong, and have a recently broken wrist, so turning this thing over to put another "foot" on it is out of the questions. Send the Geek Squad, please.

Then it started interfering with our wi-fi - we had to completely shut off 2.4 Ghz on our router - and cooking inconsistently. Now, after 2.5 years of use, some of the digits have stopped working, and it looks like the only option is to replace the entire controller, which costs $168 plus tax and shipping, without labor.

Last year some of the lines stopped showing up in the display, so you cant accurately see what time it is or what is on the screen. Touch screen sometimes didnt work, had to push hard on certain numbers. And this last month the push button for the door broke. This is not the first LG appliance we are disappointed about.
