Perfect size for our family needs. Only complaint is the finger print magnet that is stainless steel

This microwave has a very large cooking area with the same footprint as our old microwave. It is very quiet and plays a song at the end of the cooking cycle instead of an annoying beep. Some operations are a bit tricky (like setting the clock) but if you read the Owner's Manual first, you can get it done.

Works well, easy to use, looks nice. One quibble; the DONE notification is a little musical tune instead of the single beep. Kinda annoying after a while.

Functions well, easy to use, great appearance and good value

Overall, this is a great microwave for the size and price point. Also, given that it is one of the few available in the Black Stainless finish, it was on my list to compare. This purchase was a replacement (through Geek Squad protection) since the display on the previous one started to malfunction. As for features, it has the typical features that you would expect for a full-size microwave with this power output. The operation is simple for cooking or reheating with the sensor function. Also, I like that LG decided to be a bit more creative with the notification sounds to give you pleasant "tunes" instead of the decades-old simple beep or chime. Be advised that this is a large microwave; so, if countertop space is a premium, you may want to consider finding a microwave with a smaller overall size. Regardless, this is a fine microwave, and you won't be disappointed.

Great microwave! I love the pleasant musical alert instead of the annoying beeping that all of our previous microwaves had. It matches our LG Refrigerator perfectly. Open box item was brand new condition at a great price. Ver happy!

Microwave works very well. Its large but thats what i wanted. The sensor cook works well but check directions on if your food allows that. I made kernal popcorn and the name brand ended up burning a few kernals.

Love the controls - finally logical and no extra steps! You do have to press reheat by sensor three times for a normal dinner plate! Easy peasy! Love how fast it is, the ‘sings’ or ‘chimes, and if I’m not mistaken it’s large enough to hold at least a 15 pound turkey - for size reference. Love it!

We reviewed a lot of products after our previous GE unit bit the dust. The LG unit met the physical parameters for a replacement but did not appear to be as powerful (1.2 kw vs 1.6). Also, other reviews talked about the alert signal being an annoying tune which almost turned us off. However, this was the closest to our requirements, and we really needed the microwave, so we bought it and brought it home. As it turns out, the power output was identical due to improved efeincies, and the alert sound turned out to be an upbeat little ditty that is not objectionable. Furthermore, the infinitely variable power of the magmetron is a real bonus. Overall, we are quite pleased. Because some reviews said there were early failures, we purchased the very reasonable four year extended warranty using our Total Tech discount.

This is hands down the best microwave that I have owned. It’s had great power, it’s spacious and it’s sensing technology is amazing. I would definitely recommend.

I bought this during black friday and I did not read anything about it before purchase. This microwave is so much better than my last one. The autosense cooking does a great job on heating anything we have thrown at it. Breaded items actually come out good as warm up left overs.

This microwave replaced our 20+ year old microwave. One of it's features plays a "Happy jingle" when it completes it's task, and will play the jingle every few minutes until the door has been opened. Some people may not like this feature, but our family likes it because on many occasions, we forget about something we heated for hours or even days... the jingle reminds us something is in the microwave. One minor point: to open the door, you have to push the door latch on the left edge of the latch because it pivots on the right edge... pushing the center of the latch is unlikely to open the door.

Read the manual.....it's very easy to follow. While I find this fairly intuitive to use, others in the house preferred the manual. It seems to work very well, is large inside and has an appropriately sensitive touchpad. There's also a cheat sheet just inside!

Great microwave. I really like the music the microwave makes when it is done, very unique. Only thing I don’t like is that the microwave slides on the counter when you open it, other than that it is great.

I love everything about this microwave except for one thing. It's big, it's powerful, it makes excellent popcorn. But instead of beeping like most other microwaves, it plays a jaunty tune for all to hear. I just want a microwave that goes BEEP BEEP BEEP when it's done. That's it. No music. No melody. Just three sharp tones. I've since disabled the tones altogether.

Simplified programming makes it easy to use. Installation of trim pretty straightforward. So far so good after 2 months.
