I usually forget it’s on. I love that it connects to an app on my phone. There’s no more guess work on how much time is left on wash. I do wish I could turn on washer from the app. But overall, I love it! I have had the washer for at least 2 years.

This washer regularly fails flush detergent, bleach, and fabric softener from the reservoir to the wash. And LG knows it's a problem. LG's solution: use only HE detergents. Uhhhh, yeah no duh I am. LG's answer to that: try diluting your detergents, half detergent half water. I kid you not, LG knows this machine cannot utilize even HE detergents and so suggest cutting them with water. Unbelievable. Garbage.

I like the dryer but the washer is LOOOUD!!!

I quite like the steam option on the dryer. In fact when I was remodeling our laundry room, I had a water valve installed especially for the dryer. The washing machine is where I am really disappointed. EVERY LOAD bangs and rumbles like mad. This washer is LOUD! When the spin cycle starts it sounds like a helicopter flying over the house, then it settles into the sound of someone quickly and repeatedly banging on a cast iron pan with a steel pipe. Googling the issue turns up videos that show you how to balance a load of laundry but how could EVERY LOAD be off balance? It's a freaking nightmare! When I bought these about a year ago they were the most expensive ones you could buy. How on Earth can they be so loud?!?!? Thank goodness I bought the extended warranty. I guess it's time to have someone come out. :-(

Much less detergent cant tell if the clothes were much cleaner because my wife puts sented pearls to make them smell good. Still need to figure out how to work the other features since it did not come with a manual.
