I have my washer and dryer stacked. Love the options, but there are a couple of openings on the underside between the washer and dryer. I looked through the opening when I saw light coming from it, and saw a flame like the one in the oven. That was a little frightening. All my other dryers were completely closed off.

As with the washer we are satisfied LG customers. We had LG gas steam dryer in our house in Chicago area and when we knew we would have gas in the house here in San Antonio, went out and purchased our new machines. Best Buy gave us great Customer service as well.

Usually I don't review a product before using it more, but we were away on vacation and the time to review is now. We did a lot of research before purchasing this dryer including speaking to sales personnel in a couple of stores. The dryer has a big capacity and can surely fit a large load of wet items. It is much more electronically diverse than my previous machine, which only had simple settings, so I am still learning its various intricacies. I have not had a chance to try the steam feature, which I think will be handy for removing wrinkles. (At least I hope so). All-in-all, it's a versatile machine, but I like the old-fashioned machines that dry with a push of a button. The new machines (no matter which brand) are too technically sophisticated for me.

My 8 yr old LG dryer could not be fixed because LG no longer makes the circuit board so I had to spend $1000 for a new one. Also they will not place the new dryer on the old pedestal expecting you to buy a new one for almost $300 in spite of the fact that it fits on the old one. I like the product but not the LG company.

Bought this dryer after my last one which was only 7 yrs old died on me.. parts werent available for it,, so i went with the LG brand.. its quiet and runs great..

We are enjoying how quiet and efficient the new washer and dryer are. We also were very pleased with the excellent advice we received from your sales person.

Love the dryer and all of the features. One caveat is that the lint sometimes get stuck on the rubber sealant on the door. Need to remember to clear the lint after each use and use the worn down dryer sheets to clean the door.

Many setting (possibilities) to work with. After 10 loads of experimentation I now get exactly what I expect when I start a load. Presets good for 90% of your wash/dry. Bought the companion washer and the same as above applies.

We needed to change the configuration of our laundry room and decided to go with stacking units, The LG units we purchased fit perfect, and controls were easy for reach and operate, unlike other brands we looked at.

We have only had this dryer for about a month and thus the 4 star rating. It has a lot of extra settings/choices that my old dryer did not have...including the steam option which we haven't used. It didn't take long to get comfortable/find the right setting for my needs but all the choices can be a little intimidating. This dryer is quiet and efficient. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to alot of years with this one and this brand. We bought this in white and my husband regrets that choice because it is rather plain. I would suggest purchasing the drawer with it...it reduces the amount of bending you will need to do.

All previous reviews I read made me feel like they hadn't educated themselves on how to use the machine. So I read the entire instruction manual. That was very wise as I understand all the different options.

Simply put, this dryer has shortened my laundry time by at least 20 minutes, clothes feel good, and it's easy to use. Recommended!

You know there are a lot of buttons and light but how hard can it be? Not very! It’s not my Mom’s dryer but it’ll do. Seriously though I am liking the LG appliances every bit as good and the price even better!

I normally buy my appliances from Home Depot. HOWEVER, I will buy all of my appliances from Best Buy. Not only did I get a top of the line LG dryer, Best Buy was $100 cheaper than anyone else in town

I purchased a top loader to begin with but I am short and could not reach my cloth to get them out of the washer, I also got the pedistals it makes my life so much easier

The dryer has functioned great. Love the speed dry option and that you can add personalized cycles. Still learning the best options for my towels, as there is not a towel setting, but so far, so good!

If get error code for temperature sensor, make sure installed right. Lg claims sensor goes off in cold weather. Once best buy came back to install properly, it worked with no issues. Lg customer service is 24/7 but just reads script from book.

I absolutely love my LG washer and dryer. I’ve had them in the past and I’ve never had a problem with them, they have always been very reliable and clean clothes exceptionally well.

The item works as advertised. It was delivered on time. A great price when on sale. This is our second purchase of an LG Washer. The first one lastest 10 years with two minor service calls.
