Better control over drying times than the older version

Great dryer but the steam function is questionable

Bought this dryer to replace my previous LG dryer. I’m finding this dryer does not dry as well as my previous one. My previous LG dryer lasted 13 years so I didn’t hesitate to buy another, but it simply doesn’t stand up to my previous dryer.

Overall, it works fine. I find it annoying that when you use timed dry, it defaults to high heat. I also didn't realize the steam function requires you to manually add water. I thought it would have a water line like others I've seen.

Love our 2 new LG's! After our very old machines died these are wonderful! Our clothes are Alonso dry coming out of the washer. Shorter dry time which Rocks!

Had to call out the company about the sensor dryer option within two weeks. The unit does not dry clothes until they are dry. It leaves them damp. The guy from LG recommended using the manual override feature. The manual override works, but I miss my old dryer... that dryer clothes. This unit also has issues with blankets and sheets. The lack of an agitator in the center of the dryer means large items wind up and do not dry well unless you stop the unit and unfurl them mid cycle. It does the job, but it could be so much better. I think that there is a reason why the top loaders are making a comeback.

Really happy with our decision to get this dryer. It's quick, efficient and has a nice song to let you know when it's done. Highly recommend

I've only had this dryer for a couple of weeks, and so far it's been just fine. If I had to point out what is a con for me, it would be that the default dry cycle does not allow you to change the temperature, for that you have to go to a manual timed cycle. I'd much prefer to specify the heat range, and have the dryer turn off when the humidity sensor detected the clothes were dry. The default is medium heat, and for full loads, it takes about an hour, it could be done in much less time if I could change the heat range to high, and have it turn off automatically when done..

Makes laundry simple to do after minor lerarning curve . install was easy any directions were very good
