Frustrating purchase

Unfortunately, it no longer worked but I was comforted by the fact that I had purchased the 5 year protection plan from Best Buy. Not so fast. I was TWO days past the warranty date. TWO. Despite informing them that the problem started before the warranty ended--I was out of town and unable to call, it did not matter. They refused to honor the warranty. I am an elite plus member who has spent over 15,000 dollars at Best Buy over the last 5 years. Despite my loyalty as a customer, they would not work with me about the warranty. This is one customer that will be buying their major appliances/TV's/Dysons/Roombas/Laptops/Camcorders/Cameras/PS4s--elsewhere.

Washer works well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The washer works well, but water flow is cut off abruptly. This caused hammering in my plumbing. The local Best Buy sent my call to a technician who suggested that I buy additional plumbing devices. Instead, I drained the plumbing in the house, and the problem has ended. The installers should have alerted me to this. Additionally, the washer came with hoses, but the salesman told me that I needed to buy hoses.

Awesome washing machine from LG

The last set was left behind at our previous home and it was a renters favorite. Great deal and great set for the money.

great for 1st 2 years

I use it for about 1-2 loads a week. One would think washers last longer without major parts failing. Things really are built nowadays to last just barely through the default warranty period ....

2 washers delivered, both leak
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely disappointed in this washer. We are on our second one and both have leaked. The first one leaked on the 3rd wash. The second one made it through 4 washes I thnk. Calling best buy... again, hopefully we won't be on hold for 45min... again. On the first one they sent out a repair person despite my wife describing exactly what was happening. The repair person arrived and was upset that they wasted his time, stating that they just replace them when they leak from the seal. We will be looking for a different brand even though they probably all buy from the same parts manufacturers.
