Just what I needed!

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought a 4K LG TV, but I have an older Marantz AV Receiver that does not pass thru 4K signals. I needed a DVD player that has 2 HDMI outputs (1 for the 4K TV, and 1 for the AV Receiver). This one does the job! I did not have to buy a new AV Receiver to replace my perfectly fine Marantz. Most importantly I am able to enjoy my 4K tv with 4K quality, without sacrificing too much on the audio portion.

good picture no apps

It plays cds but doesn't tell you the name of Album or artist or the name of the track ! You cant add apps and it only gets Netflix and u-tube.

Most Excellent!

The only dislike I had with the unit is there is no LED display screen on the front of the unit. Manufactures in general seem to be moving away from the production of DVD players as a result of streaming popularity. Made me question the sensibility of buying the player because of this. Still its an EXCELLENT PLAYER!!!

Good for 4K movies

Can’t say too much playing on DVDs but Blu-rays is a tiny not so much difference. The 4Ks is a definitely a big difference. This player can sometime come on on it’s own while your watching TV and switch you over which is annoying lol. Overall, I like the player.

YOU HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT

The 4K Ultra brought so much more depth into the picture of footage that I've seen dozens of times before and the experience was breath taking! So g dust off all you old favorites that are NOT on ant streaming services and watch them again on 4K Ultra and you will be amazed!

Dolby Vision!

Also, you had to play with the settings in order to get Dolby Atmos sound. With the LG, I just plugged it in, and got Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Goes great with my SK9y and my B7 OLED.
