A: 4k uhd players do not decode Dolby Atmos or DTS X. The player, when at to bitstream audio will send the signs to your home theater receiver. The receiver then converts it to ATMOS or DTS x. Now, the real question is, does your audio receiver or audio source decode Dolby Atmos and DTS X?
Q: Does this player play regular dvds
A: The LG - UBK90 4K ULTRA-HD BLU-RAY PLAYER will play regular DVD as well as blu ray and 4K movies. The upscaling capabilities of this player are amazing.
Q: Is this 4k player region free?
A: Hi Fred. The LG Streaming 4K Ultra HD Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player - Black, Model # UBK90 is not a region free player. However, Ultra HD Blu-ray Discs are region-free and can play on devices that support Ultra HD Blu-ray, regardless of the region where they were purchased. For some reason, manufacturers have decided not to code 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs by region. In other words, if you have a 4K movie title, it should play in any 4K player, regardless of what country the disc came from. However, this is only true for 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs...^IFV
Q: Can this DVD player play videos from Amazon ( does it come with Amazon App in built)?
A: The UBK90 is able to stream from Netflix and YouTube. It is not able to stream from Amazon Prime. ^CP

A: Hi On (I think) page 23 on the AUDIO Settings, make sure Digital output is set to AUTO The manual doesn't mention Dolby Atmos but does in the note refer to Bitstream On Justice League I found it was set on the disc to Dolby DTS. I finally found that by manually setting it to Dolby Atmos it played as expected. Mission Impossible and Star Wars The Last Jedi e.g. picked it up correctly. Dolby vision kicked in with no intervention needed. I hope this helps
