Great DVD player. easy to use, looks good, great quality

Great Product - Picture quality and 4K performance is great.

4K is the way to go!! Very good player. Very easy to use

Unfortunately, I haven't set up my player yet. Our previous model was damaged by lightning (and everything we had was plugged into a lightning surge protector). I paired this with an LG OLED television and expect magic from our digital theater. LG products are among the best available on the market and have amazingly competitive pricing. I paired the devices to make sure I don't have any issues connecting them and getting them to work together. My last unit was an LG and my next one will be an LG as well. Compare to Samsung and decide how much you want to spend. They compete well with anybody. Since 3-D televisions have gone away, I'm hoping this does a good job of simulating the 3-D experience.

So far very much enjoying having an independent player again. Mainly used gaming systems for watching blu-rays which was pretty good as well but there surprisingly is a rather big difference in audio and picture quality. Also LG player pairs well if you already have an LG tv.

The LG 4K Ultra HD Wi-Fi Built-in Blu-ray Player is wider than I had expected but it has 2 HDMI's in the back, so that is probably the reason for the width of the machine. I had thought that the "Caption" button on the remote is for turning on Subtitles in DVD movies; however, that is NOT the case as this button does not do anything at all and I am very disappointed. Hence one star is deducted. Otherwise, everything else works fine. If you want to turn off the DVD player AND the TV, you will need to hit two separate buttons on the remote control, but at least you don't have to involve the TV's remote as well, so that is convenient.

I love this player. I have this connected to an HD projector. When playing 4K discs the picture is phenomenal on my projector. Also, my large regular blu-rays look much better than my old HD blu-Ray player. This is definitely the player to get!

Great product to own very easy to use great quality

Does what it's supposed to, nothing more, nothing less. Dolby vision and atmos were the key features (and a good deal) I picked this up. Almost no streaming apps but who cares, everything else has streaming apps these days, tvs, consoles, I mean you can get a cheap streaming device like a roku for around $30. No need for more.

Great 4k Dolby vision hi res audio player.. only downside is that it’s too big and is a tiny bit noisy.. nothing really noticeable but still there.

Wow 4k is amazing worth the money and LG is amazing

It does what I need it to do. Plays 4k and Blueray just fine without issues. This is a rather large form factor tho. Its a lot wider than most of dvd players that i have seen so that its the only negative against it. I bought the LG so that i can use it with my LG tv and LG soundbar.

Great 4k player with hdr and atmos sound for the price

I’d give it three stars but it is the best 4K player on the market. The problem is this thing is clunky. Buttons can be unresponsive. It loses connection to the internet way too much. Somebody has to make a better one. I haven’t seen one yet.

This player has all of the capabilities you need from a 4K player: wifi, apps, USB. It doesn't do 3D, but there is so little demand for 3D that it is not an issue. It was also 60% off when I bought it, so I am very pleased with the purchase. Can't wait to get my soundbar to see if the Hi-Res audio is beneficial.

Great playback, really good features. Only complaint is, when I stop a movie then eject the disc, insert a new disc and try to start it, it pulls up the last image displayed from the previous disc. Not regularly, very inconsistent issue. May be due to the digital image being captured then not completely clearing when the disc is stopped. Going to watch this issue for a little while longer. If it continues or becomes a regular problem, then I may reach out for technical assistance. At first, the only way to clear was to turn the player off then turn it back on. Now, if the problem occurs, I just stop the new disc, eject it, then reinsert it and the digital image from the previous disc is gone and the new disc plays without a problem.

I use this for Dolby Vision encoded 4k movies and the performance is outstanding. Recommend the 4k version of the Last Jedi and you will see what I'm talking about. I still use my sony x800 to upscale blurays because it seems to do a better job.

It's a good unit! I bought so to match my LG t.v. and not have to deal with two remotes. It takes forever to turn off using the remote. But all in all, good picture does what it's supposed to do.
