I got this player to replace one that failed twice for the same problem -- Geek Squad honored the warranty, thanks guys! This player is great: fast, great sound & picture, no complaints. I recommmed it!

Purchased for our 2nd tv and to see if the bluray that refuse to play on Xbox one would play. So far every disc has played and the pictire quality is great.

Great picture quality. I don't use it too much because most things are steaming now but it seems to play our older movies still on disc at a higher quality.

We wanted to get a good 4K uhd, this is a great choice, does not have all the apps, that are on my tv, it is hard to find one without all the duplicate apps on tv

A excellent 4k hi res audio player with a great price. It was easy to set up and the film quality is as good as it gets even if one were paying twice the price

I could not believe the detail that came out in the movie I was watching. You could enev see the pours on the actors faces and the rain looked so real. Would recommend to anyone.

As far as DVD players go-this one does everything you need and more.... If you have WI-FI you can stream movies from numerous sources as well as play any DVDS or CDs if you don't use WIFI....

I found this Blu-ray player more than capable of meeting all my needs. It will take us into the future and allow us to have many hours of enjoyment. I recommend this player.

This is not my first blue ray player but it is by far the best!!! Quality picture. I have seen other blue ray players at my friends homes, even they envy mine. Thank you Best Buy for your advice!

the 4k player looks good. i haven't had any issues. i'm running it on my samsung q9 and the picture looks great. definitely recommend that tv if you're going to buy a 4k tv

Simple to use, it automatically switches to the "DVD" input on my TV when I turn the player on (although some times I wish it wouldn't.) It skips right to the show and by passes all the normal start messages. I have to back up to the menu. The menu I get is the sub menu not the main disc menu then I have to back up in the sub menu to get to the main menu!! The player has a good picture but the sound level is very low and needs to have the TV sound turned up very high.

Purchased one of these without wifi for my mom's TV and it worked great, so purchased another with wifi for myself. Both playing flawlessly. 4k looks good.

We bought this player to replace a cheap Samsung blu-ray player that died suddenly. This works well to play movies though we need to figure out how to run it through our stereo since there is no analog audio out. Initially Netflix would not work and I had to search AV forums to figure it out. It turns out the digital output setting had to be set to DTS instead of Auto. Now it works great. There was a single time that the system froze while I was using Netflix but I haven't figured out what that was about because after I did a hard restart everything works fine.

This thing practically set itself up. It automatically synced with my tv and changed the video resolution on my tv to 4K hdr. All I had to do was click yes.

I first purchased the UBK80 but returned it for this one because of the many features it provides for the home theater system,streaming and wi-fi works great.Hookup very easy.

Side note: This review does not include an opinion about installed apps or streaming software on this player as I only use it to play Ultra HD disks. The negative: The only slight issue I have with this player is that it can be a little noisy while playing disks. It is only noticeable when my audio is at low volume which is rare. so I consider it an almost non issue. The positive: Just about everything!! I have this player hooked up to my LG 65" C8 OLED and the picture is absolutely mind blowing!! Without any picture calibration to the TV and watching any Utra HD disk on this player the picture is phenomenal.

Got 4k tv so this seemed logical. Took a little while before home screen would load up. After a few days it decided to appear. Movies ( not 4k) look the same

Great player, great quality. It does have a horrible smart menu but I don't use it that way. Simple look and works.

Great player with a simple interface. I was surprised how heavy it is. That was actually a good thing. It has a solid feel, nothing seems cheaply made - good build quality. Excellent picture.
