That said, it does play the discs very well but lacks in frills compared to my old blu-ray player. It only has 2 online video providers and nothing else when it comes to premium content.

Good Picture - but player freezes playing 4K discs

If I power cycle the player, it plays thou without issue. Appears to freeze at later change. Will be difficult to get fixed as I waited too late to return so I will have to send off to LG for repair and be without it for at least two weeks. I don’t believe in buying extended warranty, But unless you intend on playing a lot of UHD 4K discs on it within the first 30 days, you may want to buy the extended warranty from Best Buy.
