What i didn't realize is that it only streams You-tube and Netflix and nothing else. but It has cleared up the defination of the dvds that I watch. The price was way to high for what I got though. sadly there was nothing else on the shelves.

Good Picture - but player freezes playing 4K discs

If I power cycle the player, it plays thou without issue. Appears to freeze at later change. Will be difficult to get fixed as I waited too late to return so I will have to send off to LG for repair and be without it for at least two weeks. I don’t believe in buying extended warranty, But unless you intend on playing a lot of UHD 4K discs on it within the first 30 days, you may want to buy the extended warranty from Best Buy.

The menus are simple, and have limited choices for audio and visual controls. While the player has duel HDMI outs, I also couldn’t get the player to send audio through the second HDMI out, and am using ARC through my tv to my receiver.

Basic 4K Bluray Player

It was really nice....when it worked properly

After about 2-3 months it started freezing on DVDs, Blurays and 4K Blurays. After that started I reset the device and did a firmware update. It lasted another couple months ok and then started freezing on everything. It got to the point where it has been sitting in my entertainment cabinet and hasn't been turned on in 6 months? maybe longer? I just started using my PS5. I bought a Sony today to replace this. The stand alone has better 4k UHD Bluray playback than the PS5 for movies.
