Plays 4K/Blu-ray OK, not much else...

While I knew this was a bare bones player going in, even some of the basic features didn't work. I thought it would play over DNLA if I ran the LG ShareConnect app, it doesn't. I thought it would play MP4 videos from a USB flash drive, it didn't. And I thought it would at least play DVDs, but it displayed two separate video frames on my 4K TV. Maybe there was a setting to fix this, but that shouldn't be necessary. It did play 4K and regular Blu-rays ok - but it wasn't enough to keep it. Best Buy took it back with no questions asked - thank you!

Got it because the sound on the newer disks won't play. It's weird, All the languages except English and all the previews and special features work fine, but the voice tract on the main feature won't play on older BluRays. Everything works fine with this one.

It does lots of things, including streaming apps. I haven’t tried them because I have a smart tv, but the LG interface is usually very intuitive. Only thing I don’t like (very minor) is that the eject button doesn’t close the tray too, just opens it.

Does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far with my experience this Blu-ray player just does the job sometimes it can be flaky a massive turn off of doing but overall if you turn it off and on it’ll work I can’t complain because it came with the Harmony remote control which is universal and works with my bedroom and my home theater systems both
