Dont buy this if you have a sony tv

I bought this before buying new tv big mistake. I wanted a player with Dolby Vision which this one has but it is not compatible with my sony tv. Which I didnt know So i am going to try to contact best buy see if they will exchange it for a sony even though it is the past the return date if they dont i am going to return my tv since it is still in the return period and buy another tv from somewhere else. Lg said they will not return unless a defect well I consider a known compatibility issue a defect since there is no warning on the box and no firmware update in sight
