    Product did not come with a printed owner's manual. Had to find one on-line. I am still having difficulty troubleshooting a couple of issues.

    Happy with picture etc but the remote as others stated has a super short range. 10 feet line of sight, less if a TV is blocking the signal to the Blu Ray. It only has 1 AAA battery what are they doing saving you money on batteries? Going back to my old Sony it has 2 batteries and works in the entire living room. Sad when your customers do all your R&D for you today.

    I've had a mixed experience with this player. Most of the time it works fine, though the interface is clunky, but sometimes the front buttons don't work well (eg., Close tray).

    bought this to replace a one year old LG 4k that didn'y have wifi, but did have a propensity to pop and go black, missing about 10 seconds of movie before picture was restored This one cost a lot more and does the same thing

    LG products we have include washer and dryer and a TV. They are excellent. The LG Blue Ray wireless DVD player is cheap and poor in every way. The remote is cheap and slow to act when accessed. There seems to be no way to obtain a time profile when using a DVD. It is painful to access either a DVD movie or Netflix. Ive owned many DVD players in the past and this one is the worst even though the cost was more than any of the others.

    Fine if you plan on not using it as a 4k player

    Decided to upgrade from my old LG ubk80 player that did not have Dolby Vision but never had any playback issues. Day one out of the box had problems with this freezing on 4k discs. Even discs that were brand new. It played standard blu-ray discs fine along with DVDs. Throw in a 4k disc, especially a 100gb one and guaranteed freezing at some point in the movie. Ended up returning this and will not chance another ubk90 as I've read many other reviews that have also had a freezing issue. As for the streaming performance I couldn't say as I only used it as a physical media player.

    High quality, great color and easy to install. The user manual was online which made it 9nly 4 stars instead on 5.

    At first it would randomly freeze while watching a disk. Hasn't done that in a while. Just buy the Samsung it's better.

    Jury still out.... Seemed to work well on first DVD...second could not find disk.... Dont know if there is a glitch in DVD or in unit

    I've bought many electronic items from Best Buy over the past 20 years, TVs, monitors, DVD and CD players, receivers, amplifiers, speakers, cameras, and so on. This is the first item I ever returned, and it was due to the device not working properly. When playing four Blu-ray disks, the device would randomly stutter every 15 or 20 minutes, either freezing the frame, or going blank. When playing one of the DVDs a second time, it did not stutter in the same places. What a disappointment. It was painful to watch an action movie.

    Everything works the way it's supposed to I guess. But for $280 dollars it should be better. The interface is old and needs an update. The Sony is better.

    I had updated the software when prompted after I connected to my Wi-Fi a few weeks after purchase but as soon as I did that, the door wouldn’t stay close and kept reading check disc. I advise not to update the software to keep that from happening as I had gotten the run around after contacting Best Buy tech support and LG tech support so this must be a known issue that they are just not wanting to respond too.

    This is a decent lower range dvd bluray player. It will suffice until a better low price model comes along/

    Got it for Christmas 2018; it worked great, though didn’t use it much..... mostly used for Netflix and didn’t use for about 6 months straight; just started using again and it stopped connecting to WiFi Did trouble shooting with Cox; not the problem,.. Lg said it would cost $138 + tax, they would send a shipping label. Best Buy have been great to deal with and I think we will be getting a new one for less than LG wants to fix the first

    Truly not the best player out there. I’d recommend the Sony 800 by far over this player.

    Terrible playback of 4K Discs

    I purchased this Blu Ray player to go with my LG OLED TV. Right away I noticed it was glitching and freezing while watching 4K discs. Took it back less than a month later, got a new one, and I'm having the same issue, Did a little research online and seems this is an issues lots of people have with this player. I'm very disappointed as I have bought many LG products in the past and been very happy with them. Guess I'll have to return this one and buy another brand
