Our old player took a crap so we decided on this model due to the price. Not a bad player, plus it has Wi-Fi with net flicks and other streaming apps included. Only issue we have had so far is it will tell us it's not connected to the internet but this could have been due to our power outage we had a while ago. We basically bought it to watch DVD's so for the price you couldn't go wrong.

Great blue ray. Great picture. Not best at streaming with Netflix app. Freezes up occasionally. Other than that great for the price.

Really like this unit, small and compact, easy set up and good quality. Return another brand that failed after one use. No problem returning, very pleasant staff. I’ve been spending considerable money recently on larger ticket items and so far no complaints

After going through three (3) other players before purchasing this one was a nightmare. They failed in getting Netflix up and playing. This player works perfectly every time its being used. So far all you have to do is hit the Netflix button on the remote and your good to go. It's easy to navigate to go back, to pick, to choose, etc.. So glad I found one that works perfectly for my needs.

This is easy to use, lightweight, and provides a very good picture and sound. However, the is no optical input as I was told by BB employee.

Bought this to replace an older one that was making way to much distracting noises (think it was the belt). This works as expected, solid Blu-ray, easy to setup. Remote is very limited, but once paired with the universal remote, everything was great.

To be honest, we will probably be using only the Blu-ray and DVD functions on this machine which work well. One annoyance however is that at least for now, while watching a DVD a large message pops up to alert me to the fact that the unit is not connected to the Internet. It takes several seconds to dismiss that.

The Blu-Ray Player is decent, not amazing but for the price it is definitely not bad.

I purchased this player when my old PS3, which had become a glorified streaming blu-ray player, finally gave out a few weeks ago. I have yet to test the player's ability to play a blu-ray or dvd. I'm sure its probably fine. But this is definitely a sub-par device for streaming. The player is only compatible with Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, Vudu, Pandora, and one other app. No Hulu (even though it is still listed in the Info Gallery and specs on Best Buy's website), no HBO, and I have little hope that newer/future platforms (Disney+, Apple TV) will be added. Initially, I thought the player was forgetting my wifi when it went to sleep or turned off. But as I've gotten used to the player, I've figured out that while the system powers on very quickly, there is a 20-30 second delay after the Home Page appears before the player connects with the wifi. Right out of the package, the remote also already has a slight delay between when you push the arrow buttons and when the action occurs on the screen. Bottom line: Will play your discs but most streamers will need a separate device to access their subscriptions.

I wanted something under $100 that would play Blue-Ray and DVDs and also stream Netflix wireless-ly. I have had the issue of the player freezing and having to be reset by unplugging the player. This has only happened when I have paused the DVD/Blue-Ray for a bit and then try to resume playing. Nothing happens when I press play and the player will not turn off with remote or the power button on the player. Everything else has worked as promised. It is not a high-tech fancy player but it gets the job done.

This player is compact, easy to use and reasonably priced.

The connection to our internet is perfectly fine, apps run great. The only problem we have is sometimes when we turn the player on sometimes it is just a white screen, so we have to turn it off then back on. We have had it stop in the middle of watching a show on Netflix and we then have to unplug the device and plug it back in. Small inconvenience but would expect problems like these not to happen with how often companies update their models. It doesn't happen when we are watching a DVD/Blu-Ray, but only when we are watching on an app online.

I'ts a nice wi-fi dvd blue ray player, I have a LG TV so I can use one remote to control both devises it reads everything I have no freeze up's so far.

It does everything I'd expect a blu-ray player to do. An arrow pad/enter buttons on the face of the unit may be a nice feature that's missing from this model... that way you could still start a movie if/when you've misplaced the remote. Definitely not a deal breaker though as most similar players in this price range are also omitting buttons on the front face in favor of a sleeker look.

Wanted to finally make the upgrade from DVD to Blu-Ray but didn't want to spend a fortune. Recently got a LG HD tv so figured I might as well get an LG Blu-Ray player as well. Works great so far, although the tray you place the disc in does feel a little flimsy, it still works great, especially for the price.

This is a really fantastic little blu-Ray player. I was looking for something that would have a small foot print on my shelf and yet not give up quality or functionality. This unit does all of that. It connected very easily to the TV and sends great sound to the sound bar. This was a great addition to my entertainment setup.

Worked great and very easy to setup.it is small and very lite I am going to buy another one for my other tv if you don't have a smart tv this is great.

I really like this blu-ray player. It's easy to use and doesn't take up much space. I especially like all the fast forward and slow reverse options, and the way it returns to my place with the push of a button even when it's turned off.

Plays Blu-Ray disks & DVDs well. Great picture quality. Remembers where you stopped so you can pick right back up where you were in the movie. Has WiFi so you don't need to run a network cable to your internet router. Nice small remote. And the price was good too!
