I bought this dvd player for my parents who finally obtained an HDTV. The player does very well with playing DVDs and Bluray, however Netflix always freezes. The reason I won't rate it lower is that the TV with it's early form of HDMI could be the problem. Even though this is not the worst product, you can certainly find better at the same price.

This is such a nifty device. The size is smaller than most DVD players so it fits nicely in smaller spaces or if you need it when you travel somewhere. Easy to set up.

this blu-ray player gets the job done, easy to setup and easy to use. picture quality is great.

This is my 2nd purchase of this DVD player in the last 7 months because I was so satisfied with the first one I bought. It's easy to use and I love that I can play both blue ray & regular DVDs on it, as well as stream prime video.

Got this for my girlfriend and was looking for something that was easily connected via wifi as the router is inconvenient to run an ethernet cord, anyway, works like a charm! Easily set up, connection, can watch Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, good good and good.

Got this for my parents as they have older dvds to play. This is a compact dvd player, great pic and does the trick. It has wifi also so you can use this without a smart tv to watch Netflix, hulu, amazon etc

Right out of the box the simple hookup made viewing a quick no brainer. I have it hooked up in my motorhome to a 32" flat screen. Both DVD and BLU-RAY are exceptionally clear. I'm pleased.

This DVD player is very user friendly to use. It was easy to hook up and ready to use. I like the picture quality of this device.

Not sure if what wifi does / how to use it. But playing DVD or Blu-ray disk is super simple - just like our old DVD player.

This is a great when utilized as a utility unit. Easy to setup, configure and play. Very easy to setup with a Bose remote. It has Wi-Fi capabilities making it not necessary for hard wire. The enclosed streaming apps are great and very useful. Highly recommend.

This Bly-ray was given as a gift to my sister. She has already enjoyed hours and hours of movies. The ease of working it is fantastic. It was easy to set up and the clarity of the product is wonderful. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with this product and with Best Buy!

For the longest time, I would connect my computer to my tv as it was the only blu-ray player I had. Finally, I purchased this player. It was easy set-up and it played DVDs and blu-ray disks so much better than my computer. I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to everyone!

Needed to upgrade in my bedroom, wanted to make sure the blu-ray player I got had the apps available that I wanted for streaming without breaking my tight budget. This was just was I was looking for. Have always has good luck with LG and they are always priced well.

I had no idea what DVD player to buy. This one was recommended by the salesperson and it was the least expensive. It has functioned very well, given me access to Netflix among other apps AND it is very small. Great purchase!

Plays ALL movie formats, from blu-ray to dvd to cd to mpg to flv to wmv and on and on - has a front usb so you can plug movie data files into without having to convert to a playable dvd. Built in wi-fi makes this compact yet powerful device well worth the super pricing!

Truth be told the techonology of having a smart blu ray player is becoming a little dated with smart tvs and online streaming of movies. BUT it is necessary still to have a DVD/Blu Ray player in the home. You really don't need the smart feature because it's just another item to suck bandwith in your home but unless you want to move away from LG and you aren't brand loyal this is the only option the most Best Buys carry in stores. Worth the 80 bucks - yes. Do you need it if you have a smart TV - No.

I own 4 LG Blu-ray players now. Had 2 older models. First one replaced a bad Samsung, so I bought a 2nd when it came time. When my daughter needed, I thought I'd try Samsung again based on the price and reviews. What a mistake. Returned it and went back to the solid performance I've seen with my other LG units. It's a basic player, so just know you get what you pay for. I only needed it for Netflix and DVDs/Blu-rays, and it works great for both. Not one issue since installation.

we bought this for our sons room. its easy to set up and use. remote is a little small and easily lost.
