And the remote did not work unless you stood directly in front of the player. I returned it, which was an easy process due to solid customer service.

The BluRay player works fine but the wireless connectivity is terrible. We have our player set up less than 3 feet from the router and it struggles to load a 20 minute tv show on Netflix.

Scrolled across my watch list 3 or 4 chosen things to watch and then unit was unresponsive. Wouldn't even power off, not with remote nor with power button on the unit itself. Had to unplug from outlet and try again. Worked and so far no further issues with limited use.
