Defective From Day 1

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could not return this soon enough for the following reasons: Attempting to play a disc will result in the player either freezing or skipping back to the home screen. Attempting to access a streaming service will result in an endless load screen. On the off chance you actually connect, the service will either freeze or drop out back to the home screen. To be clear, this was not a network issue. Occasionally, rather than returning to a home screen, the screen just goes completely white. At this point, neither the remote (More on that later), nor the controls on the player will function. You have to unplug it in order to power it down. The remote is dirt cheap and largely unresponsive. I initially thought the battery was dead, but replacing it didn’t solve the problem. Be prepared to mash buttons while nothing happens. This product is of such exceptionally poor quality that I’ll probably avoid the LG brand going forward.

It freezes CONSTANTLY. I have to physically unplug it and start over several times a day. We will be returning it.

I had to unplug and then start up again to get whatever show I was watching to start playing again, only to have it happen all over again. Returned and bought a Sony.
