    HDMI NOT WORKING

    Never unplugged the cord from this Blu-ray Player so I was surprised when the screen showed not video input. Troubleshooted the issue and thought that the hdmi cord had just gone bad. Tested connection between laptop and tv using same cord and the video showed up. Devices that go out or stop working after such a short time are not good and it only has HDMI connection so will be getting it looked at. Good thing I got warranty.

    Garbage! Claims to support .MKV format but it does not. Drove 25 minutes to buy one. Didn't work and after an hour with tech support we were told the unit was bad. Drove back and picked up another one and the exact same thing. Don't waste your time or money.

    This product constantly would have periods where it would black out and I would miss portions of the movie.

    I was and am terribly disappointed. After the unit was hooked up I had no function so I contacted LG. They gave me the recommendation that I should take the brand new unit to a service center.

    was not compatible with my smart TV. closed captioning did not work. appeared to be cheaply built, not solid. Best Buy did take it back with no hassle.

    Terrible Internet connectivity

    The controls are primitive for getting online and the lag is terrible. I have to return this piece of garbage to the store. I just wanted to watch Hulu, not stare at the screen

    Interrupts movies

    This blu ray player has WiFi connectivity issues and makes me sign in every time I turn it on and I have tried to figure out how to fix that. Everything else connected seems to work fine. During movie play it also has a notification screen that shows up and you can’t get rid of it without going to the menu and trying to return to the movie that continues to play during this.

    Wifi connection is horrible. You have to connect each time and put your password!!! Annoying!!!!

    Bought this so my daughter could watch Netflix and use a DVD player but the wifi with this stinks, ended up getting a roku and that works great now I just have an overpriced blu-ray player

    Bought this to go in a child’s room. It is about 30 feet from the router. Cell gets perfect WiFi coverage but this only gets 1 bar. When it is working it works fine.

    Faulty player with less streaming than promised

    Very disappointing. It has *already* shown some issues with skipping and a few pixelated frames watching DVDs. Also, the box says it has streaming services it does not, the most important of which is HULU, which is what we bought it for. You get Napster; I have no idea who wants that in 2021. Overall a very disappointing purchase from LG, which used to be a quality company. Cannot recommend at all.

    The Blu Ray will not shut off with the switch. You have to unplug the whole thing. Not very happy with it as my plug is not easy to get to.

    Blu-ray player stopped working after a couple of years with very minimal use. Typically I’m very impressed with LG products but this one was less than desirable.

    There have been some issues with " freezing up". I would then have to unplug the unit and restart. I have also been unable to directly download an update that I have been notified about.

    No information is displayed on the player so you have no idea of the minutes left or if it is stopped or still going. Not happy with the dvd player but it does play the disc well.

    The blue ray and dvd work fine, but the WIFI for Netflix and Amazon Prime always requires me to unplug the device (sometimes more than once) turn back on and reload.

    Don't buy this unit. The inbuilt programming is so bad... Would not stay connected to the network so when you're watching a DVD the nag screen CONSTANTLY interrupts the movie. Tech support at LG? Non-existent. When the network interface is working, the streaming is so slow...

    Had issues with it very soon. It would not play in English. I had to restart the process of programming to clear out the memory. I'm sure there is a better way to clear the memory.
