    The unit is problematic

    The wifi connection information was not retained in the unit and you would have to reenter it every time you would use it. Sometimes it would ask for it again while streaming Netflix. Wifi signal was great and unit only 20 foot away

    We had to return it. It would not update.

    It would not update and would attempt to update each time I turned the device on. Despite a lengthy and unsuccessful phone session with a very helpful tech support person, we had to return the product and bought the Sony Blu Ray which had no issues.

    I hate this thing! I cannot play all my regular DVDs on it. Takes three or four tries to convince it to play them. I would rather have nothing than this expensive paperweight. Can’t return it so I’m stuck with it. BIG buyers remorse!

    This was the second Lg I bought. The first one would not play the movie. It just ejected it back out. Took to the store and they said it was bad and replaced. Took the second one home and the same thing happen. The store replaced with a different brand and I had no issues. Would not recommend.

    this player would lock up and we’d have to unplug it and let it cool off then plug it back in to even get the dvd drive to open- I know this is common in the small players but it did this from the first week, at least my Sony waited a couple months to start this

    EVERY TIME THAT I TURN IT ON I HAVE TO LOG IN AND SET UP PREFERECES ALSO WHILE WATCHING AMAZON ITS ALWAYS DISCONNECTING FROM THE WIFI AND TAKES MANY ATTEMPTS TO REOPEN AMAZON APP. WORSE BLU RAY EVER

    The salesman told me I needed for my new smart TV. He must have been from the washing machine department, because it did not work, and another clerk told me later that it did not work with and was unnecessary for a smart TV. $30 for nothing.

    The LG did not work well with my Samsung TV.

    The LG would not work with the Samsung TV. The LG's volume controls did not function; I had to use the TV's clicker. The LC did not let me change sources (go back to TV), and the buttons on the clicker are small. I returned the LG and got a Samsung which works great.

    I purchased this item, installed it in my living room, and within a month it was not working. Tried new HDMI cords and everything, the thing crapped out. Luckily the LG people were nice about giving me a refund for it, but avoid this like the plague if you want a quality BluRay player.

    Slow, limited options and locked up every time I used it. "Smart" is a joke. Spend the extra few bucks and buy a better player. Even if all you were doing was playing movies this would still be a bad purchase

    Possible Defected Blu-Ray

    I'm not sure what really going on with the product but,it could. E defected. I tried everything but, just no go. I found that my firestick does what i needed the blu-ray to do

    It won’t stay connected to the internet and we have had our internet checked there is nothing wrong with our service. I went to return it and miss the return day by a week due to personal health issues.

    This unit didn't store my wifi password and I was constantly getting an error message that it wasn't connected to the internet. The unit was also slow and clunky to use. I took it back to Best Buy.
