I bought this player after my Samsung one stopped working (that one was terrible as well). The guy at the store recommended this one, the Samsung I just got rid of, or the Sony which we also had problems with. Anyway, so I got the LG to try and at first it was great. It connected easily, it responded well, the remote worked, played movies without a problem or trying to eat the disc (Samsung). Then a few weeks after purchasing it, while watching Netflix, it would freeze up and I would have to unplug it because it wouldn't respond to the remote. No big deal, it only happened every few weeks. Then it got to the point where EVERY time I wanted to watch Netflix, the show would immediately begin to glitch, freeze, and eventually I would have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work. A few times it got to the point where even doing that wasn't getting to player to respond, so I would either watch Netflix using the Wii U or just watch TV. Tonight I was trying to watch a movie on Netflix, but of course, it stopped working and the screen kept getting cut with green flashes, freezing, and not responding. I finally contacted LG who had me do a hard reset and reset it back to factory settings. Okay great, I got to watch maybe 10 minutes of my movie, which took me about 15 minutes since again, the system kept glitching out, so I called it a night and had to unplug the player again because of course it wouldn't respond to the remote. LG told me it's covered under a one year warranty as long as I still have the receipt and if not I can just take it somewhere to get it repaired. "Luckily" I bought this player at the end of Feb 2018 so I am about 10 days away from my one year warranty coverage. However, I am thinking of just spending a little more to get a better system because this one is absolutely horrible if you want to stream anything (which is why I bought it).

Excellent product. Easy to set up and use. Disks play wonderfully.

So far it’s great, five star really only for getting it in one piece and ease of use. I’ve only had it for a month or so so I really can’t complain yet

It plays the blue rays and dvds the grandkids want, but it doesnt work real well with playing streaming channels, but that might be the internet.

This is a very nice and easy to setup player. Only two buttons on the front to choose from. Will work with older LG remotes (which is always nice).

We picked this blue ray player because it was in the middle of between being a cheap one or a ridiculously high priced player. So far so good

Works great. We have had no issues at all. Picture is beautiful and clear.

Had this blue ray for months and it works like a dream. I play regular dvd's and blue ray dvd's and they both play. I will be purchasing another one for my mom. The only downfall is you have to purchase an external cable to connect the tv to the player.

This player provides direct streaming access to only a few content providers (Netflix, Hulu, MLB, a couple others). Any other content provider (such as Crackle, Tubi, etc) can be accessed only by using a smartphone app. I was expecting an "app store" similar to what is provided by Sony or Samsung where you can download apps to view content from a variety of providers. This model plays discs well enough, but really falls short as a streaming player. If all you want to do is play discs, this model is fine. If you want to stream content, you must be able/willing to do it through your smartphone.

Device works awesome! Easy to set up, play and review! Well worth the money!

Over all the device works well with my LG flat screen TV. I was disappointed that the player has a power brick. Do to the design of the plug it doesnt fit well in a standard power strip behind my wall mounted TV. The device should come with a 4 foot HDMI cable so be prepared to purchase one.

Was initially disappointed by this streamer due to its remote that never seemed to respond to my actions. Recent Software update has mitigated some of the remote issues. Still I will simply replace the remote with a universal one. Price is a good deal for image and playback quality only if you do not mind the awful remote.

It plays Blu Rays. The streaming features are lethargic and icky, if you need something to stream off of, pass on this unit. I have tried numerous other devices Roku, Apple TV, etc... they are all better.

Price was right, does everything we need it to. Happy with it so far.

Nice player for the money. Works great and is easy to use.

Worked great for about two hours after we had it. Set up was easy, everything looked great and updated with ease. We watched a show on netflix and then watched a movie. After the movie we switched it back to netflix just to see if it was still working since streaming is a big compliant for this model and sure enough it stopped working. Called netflix, gave us the usual turn off and unplug everything routine, still nothing and she suggested a factory reset. We didn't do the factory reset because if this is what we have to do every time it decides not to work, it's not worth it. Also, There is no wired Ethernet port in the back of this device, so We couldn't even see if that would make a difference to get it steaming better. Taking it back and trying for a Sony or samsung.

Disc tray will no longer open. Even when there is nothing inside. First had the issue with a disc inside thought it was the disc but when I finally got it to open after having the DVD player unplugged for 24 hours the disc was fine. No objects stuck inside and then tried to put another DVD in and it worked just fine. Gave the DVD player a rest for a week tried again same issue but no DVD in prior

Please, save your time and buy something else. I have purchased other LG Blu Ray players and have not had problems, but this one (BP350) shouldn't have been passed as usable. Other reviews I have read confirms this is an overall product issue and not just that I got a faulty one. Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube all freeze, and then freeze the system - making you have to unplug and re plug the unit. And even after that, the streaming is not great. I know it isn't our internet because our Apple TV works just fine. We will definitely be returning this item, because it is useless. Its too bad because I really liked the interface. I didn't get to test the Blu Ray player or DVD because after two days of faulty use I gave up on it.

Bought the BP350-N a couple of months ago. The Blu-Ray/DVD function us fine. The streaming function has always worked poorly bu I put up with it. Streaming freezes and can only be restored by cycling power. At times it was just spontaneously kick you out of the stream. Have to factory reset every couple of weeks. Reports firmware up to date. Now it won't let me sign-in to YouTube account. Just kicks me out to the main menu. The device is now useless to me.

Need HDMI cord purchase separate. Two wires to hookup. Easy and simple. Quiet operation. Nice remote.
