Easy to use player

Our LAST players was a headache, could never see from the front if it was on and always worked like on a time delayed basis. Our New player is efficient and takes only seconds to respond. It is sooo easy that my 2 year old grandson can use it to play his dvds over and over and over. Another good buy from Best Buy.

The lg app for my apple smart phone as a remote works pretty awesome. Some times it seems like it becomes over well mend whit commands an it freezes up and you have to unplug it.

Good basic player

I only wish there was a display of some sort on the front of the actual player. It does what it is supposed to do - play the Blu Ray disks. The price is just right.

There can be be issues streaming Amazon Prime. Specifically lock-ups where unplugging power to un freeze the unit is required.

Only shortfall is no optical audio out so have to use the TV speakers when watching. Miss my full size speakers and 200 watt amplifier. May have to figure out a solution to this audio deficiency.

It plays movies well and has 4K upscaling for ultra high def tvs. It also comes with a ton of apps such as Netflix in case you don't have a smart tv. Built in wifi is always a plus too.

perfectly serviceable low-end Blu-Ray player

I already had a Roku for streaming so didn't really care about that aspect. So far, this is a perfectly good low-end Blu-Ray player for playing discs.
